PoE time has passed

Funny how people think D2 will replace PoE in long term. I mean most people here came from D2, largly cuz D3 was a let down. But we still left D2 for this.

Now D2 remaster will probably be fun...for a while. But its still same game with very little content.
Maybe Blizzard will provide it with more content. But your gonna have to be a bit of a moron to think they would ever come close to the level of stuff PoE has.

PoE is flawed, Partially messy and I hope some BS gets fixed. But its still the best ARPG around currently.

my dude, you don't have enough credibility to talk about power creep since it's extremely unlikely that you haven't killed endgame boss in 3.13 (even once) because it was "too easy and boring" LOL, actually it is one of the most ridiculus things i've heard on these forums recently. people don't kill endgame bosses because they are too hard and/or players are too bad at the game

My dude you dont know me :)

Im playing this game to explore builds, not to farm bosses.
Despite that fact Ive killed every single hard boss including Aul but except Maven. Believe it or not - couldnt care less.

None of those bosses are hard once you´ve learned their moveset. Thats all there is to it.
It speaks volumes that you think bosses in this game are actually hard. They arent. None of those bossfights are gear or dps checks either. Its only about the moveset and correct timing - with the exception of Maven final Invitations for the Uncharted Realm.
Those are hard and gear/dps checks precisely because there is no moveset or timing involved. They arent predictable as all the other bosses are and also mapmods come into play which isnt the case in any other of the toptier bossfights.

So except Mavens final Invitations all bossfights are in fact pretty easy and only bad players need the powercreep of metabuilds to burn them down faster than the bosses can act because otherwise those bad players would die and its those players who are claiming now endgame bosses were too hard to kill and thus PoE is supposedly on the decline.

Besides: Talking about credibility while your profile is hidden is amongst the most stupid things I came across recently.

Regardless, have a nice day.

Making excuses for yourself is one thing, but you are next level dude.
I hope one day you find the courage to listen to yourself and realise stuff has to change if you ever want to start making friends.

Not quite sure what you are referring to but feel free to PM me.

What I said is my opinion and I do stand by that. Nothing to do with excuses.

I will play d2r instead of POE next year, the problem of POE annoying me is POE don't have clear development line, POE's dev can change their game to any direction like 3.15, so I have to stop playing POE in 3 month then thinking play which game to waste my game time everyday.

D2r will keep main system long time so I know what's I'll do next month, maybe Farm Cow, maybe Farm Baal.

Gonna say like a Blizzard dev once said. "You think you do, but you don't!" ;)
I seriously doubt you will stick by D2 farming cow level or whatever for a year.
But feel free to PM in a year and say I was wrong.

Bliz considers D3, as far as I know, a super success and super good game.
So why believe in D4 ? Please explain, I wanna believe too.

Well it is a good game! It lacks the long term motivation but it is great game for 2-3 weeks.

As far as I can tell, D2R is updated graphics and some QOL. No new content.

I don't recall a lot of people leaving D2 because of graphics and QOL. It was the lack of content to do at the end. There were certainly people who stuck around for PVP, but I don't personally know anyone that did. That's not to say it wasn't a lot of people, I just didn't know anyone personally that stuck around for an extended period for PVP.

D2R will have some time in the sun, but it won't last long. The reasons people left D2, will be the reason they leave D2R. And it will be faster, because the gaming landscape is pretty vast compared to when D2 was released.
Thanks for all the fish!

Maybe PoE 2 is the last hope for the series, maybe it's already doomed by D4. I hear D4 will be huge.

What are your thoughts?

Where do you hear that? Why do you expect a company that has not produced a well-received game in 5 years to produce one now, when they are busy fending off sexual harassment charges in court? Blizzard is dead, believing that D4 will be any competition whatsoever is ridiculous. I would have my money rather on Last Epoch, but that game is still in its baby shoes.
