PoE time has passed

With D2R and Lost Ark around the corner, and D4 coming the same time as PoE 2, it seems that PoE time has already passed. The interest in the game is way lower than before and that won't change in the near future.
Maybe PoE 2 is the last hope for the series, maybe it's already doomed by D4. I hear D4 will be huge. What are your thoughts? Last bumped on Sep 4, 2021, 6:07:29 AM

"They rarely listen , and when they do to the extent that they make a change it is never more than a thrown bone. That being said there is probably enough loyalty to see them through. I cannot comment on growth, but they will survive at the very least. |

Poe will keep getting worse and worse but will get a new life when d4 comes out.
Faced with d4's awesome terribadness poe would once again look good and have further design space to continue getting worse. And then mathil will stream mountain hiking irl and we will all go play that. ^^ |

They should have a section in the forum dedicated to doom/apocalypse threads. It would be a goldmine of false prophecies over the last decade.

i dont believe in Blizzard any more. With current state of WoW mass exodus and game director of Diablo 4 leaving the company do you really believe that are able to provide a good game? Look at the remaster o warcaft 3. D2R doesn't count because outsourced to another team. So yeah it might be good but still is a 1999 game.

also lost arc is a Korean game with all the bad aspects that includes this..

PoE won't die, it just won't be very played in the future.
About the D4 director - he left due to non-D4 related issues. |
