Bliz considers D3, as far as I know, a super success and super good game.

" Lost Ark is a pay to win mess; after hearing the thoughts of people who already played the Russian version, I'm not gonna touch the game with a 10ft barge pole, and I'll be suggesting the same approach to every friend that asks. D2R is literally regular D2 with fancy graphics and no modding support. People will play for a little while for nostalgia, then quit. Even hardcore D2 fans who have kept their love of the game going through Median XL and other mod platforms (Hello, I'm one of them) will eventually have to go back to the base game because of the aforementioned lack of modding support in D2R. As far as D4, that's the most hilarious one on the list. Not sure if you have seen the absolute nuclear winter of a shitstorm that's currently going on at Blizzard HQ right now, but I would be hard-pressed to believe that they are going to produce a well-polished competitor to PoE in the next half a decade. Also, the lead developer on the D4 project got fired recently, so yeah. PoE needs a real competitor, but these ain't it chief. Souls along a conduit of blood, from one vessel to the next.

The problem is Activision that will push Bliz for a fast cash-grab (like always do) no matter in what state the game is. I wish im wrong on this, since competition is a good to have for the genre. Im pretty sure even GGG wish Diablo 4 to be a good game tbh. |

D2 is oudated asf shieet, not interested in this at all. New graphics is not making it much better. Recommend to visit a shrink if you have an issues vs Nostalgia Goggles. You will see, it will feel better after you work it out.
I played Lost Ark already like a year ago, in a ru servers. Game is fine, and fun, for a max 2 weeks or so. Then you meet a pay wall, a monotonous grind in same 3 dungeons, a timed very laggy world bosses trying to get into the gight instance/channel vs friends is huge pain. Fk it, it said the whole community I was in, 250+ players, for a second! xD D4 may have a shot, but face of acti-bliz now.. uknow.. is so ugly (see memes), no, rly, they making sht, in many dimensions. Tho I opened up to be surprised, but no hope here. PoE2.. well, from the looks of it, and from the sounds of CW philosophy, ignorance to glaring issues by his vision, and blind-to-what-players-like-to-play state, poe2 will be a huge letdown. So no hopes here alrdy too. Lack of challenge and long monopoly of being best is killing this game dramatically. PoE has been in a golden state in 3.13, seems not coming back to this - so we can calm and peace out. /Honest trailer But anyway, industry is moving forward and thinking whats players are pinned to a single game and single genre - a huge mistake. In a discord channels I`m in, PoE rolled down already from top channels to 5th-6th, not much who played it last months, ppl plays different games already, so no big deal. If it dies, it dies. Easy, speedy, flashy gameplay, no challenge, no obstacles, nothing fights back and that equals quality by your high standards? The game is in a rough spot right now. Dont care tho. GGG is doing the right thing by reducing the powercreep, they just rushed it too much, werent clearly communicating and irritated a lot of players. Nothing that cant be fixed and PoE has been in way rougher spots before. Im in for the long haul, not the instant gratification that 3.13 represented. A league I did quit fairly early although I tried to prolong it by going Groupfound with 2 buddies. Didnt matter tho, it was way too easy and consequently boring. |

why do people keep comparing lost ark to poe all the time?
lost ark is much more a MMORPG than it is an ARPG. D4... lol. do you live in some alternate universe where blizzard is still producing decent games? that company is doomed. |
