Sorry for such huuuge delay in update. I was not playing Shadow that much this league, so I was kind of out of the loop. So, updated the post for 3.7.

Here are new builds that were added, either because of people's requests, or manual review from forums:

[3.8] Gryph's CI Vortex + Coldsnap Trickster || Uber Elder+Everything Else

Damage: Med -> High

Survivability: Very High

Mobility: High

Clear Speed: Medium

The Vortex+Coldsnap Trickster is a solid "do it all" type of build. If you want one character to do all content, this is it.

While clear speed isn't superb, it feels fast and engaging, and the multiple defensive layers makes reaching higher levels very achievable simply from a lack of dying often.

League start viable as there are no required uniques and the build can operate on a pitiful budget whilst scaling to high DPS numbers (can *potentially* reach upwards of 5M DPS on Vortex alone) Typical medium to low budget can reach 1M dps with no problem and the more you put into it, the more you get out of it.

I have included an update based on the balance manifesto and will do so again once we have access to the patch notes for 3.8

Hello, I know it's the start of the league so there are some things missing.
I intend to update the leveling section for newer players as I level with this build (I will be starting out with this one).
I will also update ASAP when I get to the appropriate level with the appropriate endgame gear. I have tested the build in standard already in t13-t14 maps with minimal gear so I'm 99% sure it works.

The build is based on running Blights safely and successfully by both being a tower and having pseudo towers via a Wave of Conviction totem and an Orb of Storms. Added safety is provided by Chill and Freeze via 80% lightning to cold conversion.

Hi!
I made an ED trickster guide in legion focusing on stacking defense layers while still maintaining a good damage output (for an ED build) to be able to clear all content in the game.
This build has killed some of the hardest content there is (triple damage depth 606 aul video up in the guide) and has a great progression line to get there. It has insane clear speed (it's ED after all) but sacrifices damage output to be really tanky. Despite this, we're still killing Uelder in 2 minutes...

I think it would be great to have this as an alternative to Ghazzy's thread. It is a good thread, but starting to get old, and does not cover all the options ED trickster has in the current Blight patch.
I am actively maintaining the guide in Blight, responding to thread message and testing out proposed gear on my own ED trickster that I played for over 400 hours.
