farming sulphate is aids
GGG doesn't understand how to finish an idea to completion without making it dreadfully boring.
1) How about an infinite dungeon that has all sorts of cool shit in it that will cool the fsck out of you if you delve too greedily? (AWESOME) 2) Now let's add a darkness mechanic so you're forced to follow this shitty little cart rather than explore everything on your own. (Euh.. no.) 3) Also, let's add shitty flares and dynamite mechanics that require specific button presses at specific times to not die or progress in secret corners. (yeah, still no) 4)Also, let's force players to gate back into our shitty map system after 4-6 digs to make sure they don't enjoy too much of our new content. (No, just no. Stop talking. Forever. How did you even get on the dev team?) 5) And best of all, let's give the minecart, the shitty flares and the shitty dynamite a pointless upgrade system so the rewards of your delve aren't usable on the new currency we talked about. (wtf you on about? How are you still able to breathe manually? What is wrong with your .. everything... dude?) They really need some smarter people on their balancing/dev team. Too much bad ideas make sure the good stuff gets ruined. This league is now officially bestiary 2.0 Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right. |

" Yeah, the most bot-heavy activity. My suggestion: buy a metronome. You'll be able to watch it forever. " Someone, check if GGG is in the list of companies that are giving jobs to mentally challenged people. Because that's exactly what I am thinking too. Organic chemistry is a weird thing. If you add a spoon of shit to a barrel of jam you'll get a barrel of shit. Last edited by Oblitus#2951 on Sep 5, 2018, 12:40:37 PM

" Can't constantly interact with a metronome. I do have a "fidget cube," though, and even with only 5-6 activities it's pretty fun to press buttons/flick switches/etc. endlessly. Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

" This guy gets it. Like did you all honestly expect this endless dungeon to be a valid alternative to mapping? You know, the thing which needed years to perfect?? Kind of strange how the majority of the posters actually expected this to be a separate game you can play without interacting with the rest. Last edited by Johny_Snow#4778 on Sep 5, 2018, 1:20:55 PM

" It's kinda sad that this activity gives you more sulphate / hour, than playing the game "normally". I also see them fixing this in the next patch & removing the pile from that zone (eg. there isnt one in tidal island iirc). When night falls

Yeah, it increasingly looks as if this was an utter failure at an "alternative content." Was really hoping it'd be "on the side" in the way that the Labyrinth was. I guess it SORTA is, at least as far as the ratio of maps vs. Uber Labs run. But two slight changes make all the difference in the world:

Alva could appear everywhere from the Mud Flats onward, but would cease appearing in pre-map zones once you got so many levels ahead of it; by the end, she'd never appear in zones below 60. Could be that Sulphate is limited like that, too. My guides: Summon Homing Missile (SRS) | Act II starter RF | Budget Oro's Flicker Strike

Wellllllll in a sense delves at a certain point become more profitable than maps. Maps, unless you are running guardian ones, offer random loot. With delves you can bum rush what nodes you like(read: currency nodes) and if delving was completely unrestricted it'll be the preferred way of playing wealth-wise.

" Personally, I didn't expect that... However as 'side content' the system is fundamentally flawed. In order to even get anywhere 'fun' as in challenging in the mine you have to grind thousands of maps. Clearing a few dozen maps will get you to tier 10 in the atlas but depth 110 max in the mine which is like lvl 70???... this is not challenging content its not hard at all - its just grind. It was promised as content to put your characters to the test and try to get deeper than everyone else... its not though - just more map grind. Pretty much the race to 100 in a different setting. You'll never get anywhere challenging and can you imagine rolling a new char and starting at delve lvl 61 again? Holy shit this is retarded... |

" 1. the mapping system is not perfected, its not even remotely perfected. 2. If I, just an average journeyman player, had been testing it during creation and they implemented my feedback then yes, it would be a completely valid alternative to mapping. So ya, I kind of think a multimillion $ dev team with a crew of testers should be able to work out basic shit that an average joe player like me could work out with 3 days play time in the content. Did I expect them to? I hoped, it wasnt there, so I told them where it went wrong. Thats all there is to it really, dont really see what your point is at all tbh. This is feedback, did I expect it to be perfect? Thats irrelevant, it isnt perfect, it is pretty far off and Im giving feedback on why this is the case, thats what this forum is for. Did you expect the feedback forum to be empty because no one bothers to give feedback seeing as the game is as dysfunctional as they expected it to be? I could delve for the whole 3 months and i've quit every league since legacy in the first week, if the sulphite costs don't get reduced i'll probably do the same for delve.
Why gate your league content behind standard making? If you don't want delve to make mapping look like shit maybe stop nerfing everything about it. |
