farming sulphate is aids

I wrote this on reddit but i got downvoted to the ground, so I will just post this here:

It's sad that for every 1 second I farm voltaxic sulphite, I can spend 1,66 seconds in mines (181 depth)

I hate mapping. Every time I get to the maps I just lost interest in game. So with new content and infinite dungeon I thought I could finally get some fun endgame. But nope. First work then fun.

I can farm 1250 voltaxic sulphite (VS) in around 540s (9min), doing nothing else but farming (which is boring if I don't have nothing interesting to listen to). It costs me nothing else but time, and I know that there is much more VS at high level map, but they cost currency, they take time to complete, and you need to roll them which take another currency from you. And I'm still not sure if you could get VS if you full clear maps without some "zooooming" build.

At depth around 180 it take me around 900s/15min (sometimes less, sometimes more) to spend almost all of my VS. I don't rush, try to check some dark places. It's 4-6 nodes. Getting just a little bit more blue stuff, and some shitty hidden rooms with 3 blue strongboxes.

It's sad that you need to spend so much time farming VS (if you wanna play just new content), for so little time spend in mines in reward. You can stay almost infinite on maps, but not on content that is infinite.

Yeah league is shit, even azurite is a useless time wasting mechanic. Instead of making us do interesting thing they make us run about those 2 useless boring shits.
Darkness exploration is even more aids than the farming activities you have to do to get there.

I've skipped a lot of posts in this thread but read Snorkle posts elsewhere and thought this is still probably the mosmost appropriate thread to discuss it.

From what I can tell the developers still want Delve to be a side thing to play in addition to Maps, not instead of. This contrasts heavily with what it looks like a lot of you were hoping for with Delve. I do wonder if the developers will actually change their mind about this or if they will simply stand their ground and say, no, endless Delving is NOT what we want, we want players to still be forced to play Maps.

You can sort of tell this is what they want from how the sulphite piles get bigger and bigger the higher tier Maps you get into. You can imagine the devs were imagining alternating between Maps and Delves. The methods people have come up with for endless Delve sustain have no game mechanical support just like boss kill/lab carry services so you get the sense the developers never intended it to be a core mechanic.

Well, at least you can buy offerings or sacrifice fragments to run Lab/Atziri all the time. But you cant buy Sulphite!
GGG should've made Delve an expansion with endless dungeon as an alternative to maps.

There is no knowledge
That is not power
it gets boring real quick "hunt for sulphate... hunt for azurite" repeat
I'm probably in the minority, and/or it's just because I haven't gone Deep enough yet, but I'm actually finding Quarry runs pretty chill. Reminds me of Pindleskin from Diablo 2.

Then again, I'm also the kind of person that enjoys farming for Oni-Goroshi, so my psychology is not exactly typical! Ha.
