Has GGG given official word on if they'll fix desync?
" Ok, I'll admit the website and forum might not live the same place as the game server. The rest of my point still stands though, PoE doesn't have the luxury of running across as many servers as and FPS will, and thus has to handle way more data processing than an FPS server. But we are getting off the main point here, all I was trying to say is that you cannot really compare PoE to an FPS since those two are vastly different types of game. It's not a single server, what are you talking about. There are at least 3 external and unknown amount for internal usage, smaller in capacity.

" Source please, there's multiple gateways but one server. One server that might be made up of several smaller ones, but there's still just the one server. If they can't fix it then remove the things that cause the biggest desyncs. I'm talking about Cyclone, Leapers, Rhoas, the new genius idea about having 20+ monsters spawn at the same time from a box etc etc. If these things are removed, people won't notice the desync as much, therefore leading to less people complaining about desync.

The amount of "Desync Apologists" is pathetic...
No wonder this game is in it's sorry state... They cater to people like you guys... You "special" people are basically funding their game, if you looked at their numbers... You guys buying their ridiculously priced "Titles" and MicroT crap... GGG in all it's idiotic wisdom has deemed that catering to these E-Dressup Fanatics is more important than making a solid game... That's why this game is in it's pathetic state... They realized 3+ years ago, who they wanted to cater too... And that was the kids who didn't give a crap about the game, but cared more about Forum Titles and Pretty Pants. I bet everyone one of these Desync Apologists has dropped thousands upon thousands of dollars on The Sims 3 furniture. Pathetic... Who needs an ARPG... When the main source of income for GGG is the Dressup Brigade and Rainbow Forum Title Crowd. You know why they're Desync Apologists... Because Desync doesn't affect them. They don't even play the game, hard to be affected by desync when all you do is sit in town putting on E-Clothes or spending 24/7 on the forums Fapping over their colored names. GGG is currently working on changing the laws of physics and the universe. However, it is a tough task to alter the quantum mechanics of electromagnetic energy and they are currently hiring Ph.D and PostDocs to work on the matter.
