So frustrating that the same mistake is repeated in every D2 clone

You are never guaranteed to get another map, just as you are never guaranteed an item after crafting.

Maps, however, are items, and you can buy them from other players. Complaining about maps is no different than complaining about items.

So, you're saying leveling process is the same as gear? It's a matter of convenience that maps are trade-able items in this game, yet they have nothing else in common with gear.

This is also the first game where you have to be lucky in order to progress (more efficiently) even though you can handle the harder content, and if you're not lucky (most of the time) you either have to play lower level maps in order to try to get lucky to gain again the higher content.
Or, you can buy harder monsters.
Brilliant system, it disgusts me every time I think of it.

And now you're saying that is the same as gear?
Please, tell me again that it's the same thing so I won't ever reply to your posts in the future.

F*cking mule characters, I know... sh*t sux.
I can't believe I am doing this again.
TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional.

Gear crafting = currency sink RNG determined results

Endgame maps = currency sink RNG determined results

Both can be bypassed with WEALTH the number one factor in having a shot at the top-ladder/competition.

such design
Much creativity
Wow ladders

o.O yes i see, they have nothing in common with one another...

you are basically fighting the same fight against RNG tink092, you are just on the left battle field and some other people are on the right one. Both teams Cluelles they are fighting the same game-soul-destroying baddy.

:D

edit : typo!
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Like I've said, it's only in this game that you have to invest currency (there are those few lucky ones that don't have to) in order to keep up leveling process - the reason I took a break.

You can't compare a leveling process with gear.

I haven't commented the overall "crafting", I just said that if nGio had left 10 exalts reserved in case he failed in making a good sword, he could've bought a nice one even after "crafting" and continue playing with a bitter taste in his mouth.

Quoting myself:
"You can gamble if you want, but if you go broke in the process, it's your and only your fault, sorry."

Because nGio wanted to make his own sword, went against the game, and lost, left without nothing.

I can't even see how and why my post got into off topic like this.

This exact scenario is why the crafting system in PoE is bad. you SHOULD be able to craft a good/decent item for 10ex, because if you can't wtf is the point of crafting when you can buy close to what you were looking for for the same price or less?

Right now, in this game, the point of crafting is to make top tier rare items.

Which costs hundreds of exalts. Which is stupid.

You should be able to craft good (not top tier, but solid gear) items without such an investment.

I thought i just did. I don't say i agree, but there is a direct correlation between how both act like a currency sink.

Nope, a solid/great gear can be "easily" chaosed, (yes, you heard right) in under 10 ex.

Of course, that's not crafting, like anything beside vendor recipes, but still, I proved you're wrong.

Unless we have a different picture of a solid gear?

Agree, and I've never said anything opposing that.
