So frustrating that the same mistake is repeated in every D2 clone
" That's interesting, I never really thought about that, and while many people will feel differently, I consider that to be the "good" kind of challenge. CoC might be weak against some bosses, but it also clears incredibly fast. My build is designed mainly to tank tough bosses (or anything else) but it clears maps much slower. I feel like that is the kind of "balancing" challenge that I enjoy, and less of the "well i'm soloing 6 man dominus in full mf gear and just hoping rng ticks seed 9965 this time and I get X uber item." Maybe it's just the I hate trading so much. I will maybe not hate it with the new system. It's not that I hate the idea of trade, it's that I hate the idea of having to spam 20 chat channels or sell something on the forum which would be OK if we didn't both have to be in client at the same time. " Hey, i'm not saying it'd be unfair :) Just stating that people would find something else to QQ about. Whatever suits your own bad experience, that's what you cry about. For me that'd be bad map drop RNG and reflect (and i'm still convinced that it's an archaic and stupid mechanic). And my inability to find decent players to play with, but that's not the games fault but my own laziness to make an effort. But the same logic will apply to most (!) people that complain about drops - people don't want to make an effort, but still cry. That's the reason i'm against higher drop rates in general. My drops have been far from great, but decent enough so i could enjoy the game for a long time. And i really feel that this should be true for like ~90-95% of the playerbase. But as i learned from you all that is not nessecarily true for the most hardcore grinding players. Personally i'd be more than pleased with trading for my stuff, but i can understand that it's somewhat frustrating to have the need to trade for EVERYTHING, no matter how much time and effort you put into finding your "own" stuff. |
