So frustrating that the same mistake is repeated in every D2 clone
" Honestly, I just haven't progressed in so long that I'm burned out. I only reinstalled the game because some friends and family talked me into playing Nemesis, and every single one of them quit 6-8 weeks ago. I wanted to prove to myself that I can craft a good weapon without using RMT in a tough league like Nemesis.
Spoiler
106 Exalted in Ex/Eternal put into this, and just under 1100 Fusing. The Fusing doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that with 2 prefixes open, and potential for 9 possible different rolls, it hasn't rolled flat phys or phys%/acc a single time. Last time I was on I dropped the 14 Ex I had been saving up, and no dice. Honestly, losing 500 hours of time with nothing to show for it just broke me. Sure I know, "never craft without RMT". I should have known better, but I didn't feel like buying a Mirror and using someone else's finished project. The game was really fun when I was playing casually and progressing slowly, but the end game grind has too many rules for success, and pigeon holes anyone who wants to experience things their way...."play in a party", "trade flip instead of farm", "crafting is for stupids". With this many hours played(I'm probably in the top 1% for hours played) I clearly don't fall into the "whiners who want 6 links to fall out of the sky every time they kill a monster", or whatever the cool insults going around now are. | |
It's due to the game's economy.
I don't like trading, so I've already resided to the fact that I'm not going to get the uniques I want any time soon. I wish there was a version of this game that was offline & drop rates not based on a economy. But I may as well talk to a tree. |

" PoE is a MULTIPLAYER game by default. If you decide to play solo then by all means, do it, but don't you then dare to come whine here that you are not getting the same as "others" have. YOU are the problem, not the game. Also, 'Korean MMO grind based on partying, trading, and economies' equals fun for me. I knew where I was getting myself into when I started PoE, apparently you didn't and now you are roaming the forums, whining and manipulating other people to get the game changed to your personal preferences. " I knew where I was at too when my highest level char was 62. Go do your first map and then come talk to me. Frankly, you're just plain ignorant on the subject, and you watching Youtube videos of people playing PoE doesn't mean shit to me. I play the game pal, and you talk about it. Now go away, you're becoming annoying. Last edited by nGio#1658 on Jan 21, 2014, 8:53:03 AM

" If that is so how come there is no indication for that anywhere? Not in the FAQ, not in the tips in the loading screens, not in external or official game descriptions or reviews, not in any of the quests (for none of which you need a party), not in your game experience until late merciless/late maps. Is everybody including the devs ignorant of that except you and some others? Last edited by Jojas#5551 on Jan 21, 2014, 9:03:04 AM

" You are violating the GGGs posting policies, please keep it civil. bla bla whatever BS you usually like to spout when people disagree with you |

" Wrong. PoE is an online ARPG. Online does not mean multiplayer by default. |

" Mushioov, we both know this is your alt account, and you've been called out on it before. This is really getting sad man. I'm not even going to dignify you with the same personal attacks you're throwing at me right now, because it just can't get any worse than switching accounts to "back yourself up". Lol damn I don't even know what to say to you right now for doing this again... Last edited by nGio#1658 on Jan 21, 2014, 9:14:50 AM

" The theories run deep in you. Too bad you can't convert those to actual game theorycrafting, instead you whine all day long on the forums about problems that only exist in your own head, like your theories of my alt accounts. A sad, lost cause you are... |

" *where the fuck is my popcorn* GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
