So frustrating that the same mistake is repeated in every D2 clone

Take it to PMs guys, or (alt account or not) you're going to get time outs.

Mushioov, we both know this is your alt account, and you've been called out on it before. This is really getting sad man. I'm not even going to dignify you with the same personal attacks you're throwing at me right now, because it just can't get any worse than switching accounts to "back yourself up". Lol damn I don't even know what to say to you right now for doing this again...

The theories run deep in you. Too bad you can't convert those to actual game theorycrafting, instead you whine all day long on the forums about problems that only exist in your own head, like your theories of my alt accounts. A sad, lost cause you are...

Before I quit playing the first time, you did this "double take" in another post with these 2 accounts. You misspelled the same 2 words with both accounts, someone called you on it, and you immediately edited both accounts to 1 word posts lol. Honestly it's just weak, and I'm really at a loss for words right now that you're trying this shit again. Seriously man, you gotta stop this. Go ahead and get on your alt now, try and deny it again, and make sure to drop as many personal insults as possible. You're pathetic buddy.

Edit- Yeah I'm done with this conversation, there is no point in further derailing

It's funny how multiplayer online to protect from hacks etc is used as a defense that you should only play PoE in a party etc.

Please link me a dev response where they state exactly that PoE is only meant to be played in a 6 player party.

Mucho apreciata guys!

No, This is not an mushioov alt account, I am a real person. Did it ever occur to you that mushioov may not be the only person that notices your patterns?

He is absolutely right, though. I read these forums for probably about 4-5 hours a day, and I cannot get through a single thread without seeing an nGio elitist whine. You always claim to hate the game, and yet you go into threads saying you sink in 8-10 hours a day in PoE. I have called you out on it before, you are absolutely right. I, for one, am sick and tired of your hypocritical bullshit. And the second someone disagrees with you, you go off on a: "This is a personal attack and is against the GGG forum rules" shpiel.

I wish you could just do us all a favor, and leave this game you 'hate' for good.

ps - If this gets me a ban/on probation, I understand, and fully accept the consequences. If they just implemented some kind of ignore feature, I could finally get through a thread without seeing your vitriol.

Edit - as for the derailing, this is a 14 page thread about itemization, created by a dude who only joined a few days ago and is just starting cruel. There is no derailing a thread like that.

Finished my first playthrough.

Didn't get a unique.

Diablo 2 learned this lesson a decade ago, that the game just isn't as fun or good as it could be if you don't get good items. Torchlight 2 and LoD have the balance perfect, you'll get a unique at least once every act, probably more if you know where to look and you'll be getting awesome items fairly frequently.

Fairly good game overall but it seems like they'll put uniques behind a paywall like D3 if they're this rare.

Sorry but D2/3 and Path of Trading don't represent the genre in it's entirety.
The problem is ON LINE arpg's. When you have a economy, you have gimped drops and 99.9% vender trash revolving around the existence of a economy.
Titan Quest /Grim Dawn, Torch Light, CHampions/return to Arms for example...alot more rewarding. ( not uniques raining from the heavens but when there's no online economy, the gamers experience is much improved)

People need to stop talking like Path of Trading is the quintessential ARPG. 99.99% vender trash, and gearing up in a trade window just isn't fun.

Hmm... So what you say is that all on-line arpg's are designed around the game economy. I wonder what would happen if PoE had 50% better drop rates at high levels? We'll see how well that works for Blizzard when RoS comes out. Blizzard got royally roasted in the forums in 2012 (wow! was that an inferno flame war or what?) for lack of quality loot in Inferno level and then some. I played From June 1st until Sept. 20th (when TL2 came out) and in my 500 or so hours of playing D3 never saw 1 set item drop. Talk about loot crap. The 1.06 patch made it so the yellows became the new blues but rares were 99.9% trash for a level 60 character so that didn't help either. Of course all the botting really fucked up the D3 economy so that the prices skyrocketed by the end of summer. At least GGG is trying very hard to ban botters and RMTers so at least that's a plus for PoE.

The current mode that Chris said and GGG is proceeding on is that of keeping currency orbs low to keep the RMTers from buying all the exalts they need and outbidding everyone else to drive up prices and cause high inflation. I always thought that scarcity of product (high quality gear in the case of PoE's economy) when demand was high caused prices to skyrocket. Just look at the prices of marijuana in Colorado to see that in a real world economy. So scarcity of an item should make that item worth more than if there was an abundance of an item that many were trying to sell.

Also scarcity of crafting orbs keeps us from doing very much crafting on our own and makes us look to trade chat. D3 was deliberately designed with limited high quality loot drops from the beginning (that explains the mass exodus from Blizzard North and the creation of Runic Games and Torchlight) to force us to use the AH so Blizzard could make more money. Trading in PoE does not generate revenue for GGG so there really shouldn't be any incentive to keep us starved for crafting orbs or better quality gear as we advance into the high levels. Forcing us into trade chat should not be a high priority for any arpg. Keeping us out in the Wraeclast world killing and looting and finding better items as we level up should be priority one.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.
