So frustrating that the same mistake is repeated in every D2 clone

Assuming that your opinions decide what is and isn't a mistake falls in the same category. You're not the center of the universe, you're not somehow the only one "getting it" while everyone else are blind fools, and your preferences are in no way or shape more important than those of everyone else.

Much of what you believe is wrong with PoE is stuff that I think is well done. The game's not perfect (from my perspective, which is only that: my view), but it does pretty much everything better than every other ARPG I have played (and I played pretty much all Diabloesque games). There are things I'd change or improve (better crafting, some QoL aspects, client coding), but for me, PoE is a better game than D2 was (just a little rough around some edges still) and certainly in an entirely different league than D3.

Also, most ARPGs that tried to be too "innovative" and stray away too much from the D2 formula messed it up, like Sacred (and I was involved with Ascaron at the time).

I've done lot's of Lunaris Temple runs in Merciless and Piety drops lot's of mostly blue and yellow crap. Once in a while she will drop a low level unique but I've never seen a high value yet (I'm level 71). What player level is needed to get better quality drops from Merciless Merveil? Do you need to run with much IIQ or IIR?
