Why GGG_Neon promote the PERMA freeze mobs and bosses?

If youre ranged, then bosses will be mostly a battle of reflexes and not raw stats.

The reason I say this is that you will die if you get hit by firestorm, lightning storm or cyclone but it is more than possible to completely avoid these attacks by simply moving away. The exception is if there are some map mods like temporal chains.

Having played a soft ranged class with 7000 life, 300 armor, 2000 eva, acrobatics and no unwavering up till level 94 and never skipping even hard bosses I can tell you many people dont have a clue how to play and would rather automatically skip bosses and whine of gross imbalance.

If youre melee this is an entirely different issue as your survialbility is based solley on EHP vs monster DPS and theres not much skill can do if you get insta gibbed. There should be some fine tuning here for sure.

That Freeze Mine + EP, combined with a few passives and other gear/skill choices, can trivialize content can't really be the issue here. As has been pointed out in this thread, there is a wide array of tools to choose from in order to trivialize content. I don't see any of them on the docket for public outcry.

I want a streamer to get a lvl 97 toon that takes 5 minutes to kill the hardest map bosses, solo, using some specific niche build that can't die due to defense but has sacrificed all but piddling damage in order to do so, using only Whirling Blades. Hmm, max EV/ACRO/Phase Acro/Ondar's + block/spell block, high life/regen, max/overcap resist Whirling Blades + Blind + LGoH + Life Leech + Faster Attacks, CWDT+Enfeeble+Decoy Totem+Enduring Cry (lvl 31 gems only)...People would scream for it to be nerfed....


I honestly don't know of a single player who will regularly take on Palace Dominus without freeze min trick. Yes, there are some that will do him to make a vid, but only once or twice. He is still normally skipped.

I may be reading a different thread than you, because I did not see a single thing mentioned in this thread that trivializes content like freeze mine. If it did, it was nerfed.

I don't really care one way or the other if this gets nerfed, but it is certainly not "hardcore." If it took an entire build devoted to it, that would be one thing. This doesn't. Just need an add.

That's pretty fucking soft LOL that life alone is his shield fucking and RNG doesn't exactly help from time to time since he has acrobatics in place with horrible evasion meaning he will die painfully if he doesn't play well.

How to nerf freeze mine (yes, I think it's op).

Freeze mine: Freeze enemies as if x cold damage was dealt. Frozen enemies actually take that damage.


The broken part of freeze mine is that you can spam it infinitely without a mob dying.

considering the bosses have -25 max resist or vulnerability on their side its pretty much death whether you have 4000 life or 7000 life.
