TonyTsang, I mean that this change didn't have to be ninja-ed in - and then have to be explained (like GGG had to).
I also am not happy with having no NEW players during my play timezones (since they will be on a different server - Garena). Mobutu I am not against any one voicing their displeasure - of course I am not. I just think taking it to either extreme (being an extreme Fanboy, or an extreme naysayer) detracts from the issue at hand. "only a blind individual would not see the real intentions here" What intentions are you referring to? Is it the intention to ensure ALL new players play on Garena? If so, it is not some super secret known only to some enlightened souls- all of us have figured it out right away? You mean the Singapore servers might be done away with in the future because only open beta players are on it - and so not viable? Sure, probably - but since neither you nor I have a crystal ball, we gotta go with GGG's assurance that currently there are no plans to do so. Well, its patch day and there's still no official statement whatsoever.
How hard can it be to include a line of "Singapore Gateway removed from Dropdown menu" in the patch notes? You've lost my support, GGG =/ I refused to spend a single dime on your game from now on. (Inb4 people calling me out on GGG doesn't need me to continue their business) |

Planning on doing exactly that, asking for refund for all of my stash tabs in next few days and quit POE if the developer act Ninja now, there's no reason they won't act Ninja later on, can't be trusted.
Reason on why removing Singapore gateway from selection is bad: - No more new player from Singapore - No new player means the population get less and less over time - When the ppl connecting to Singapore gateway is small number, good time for them to relocate the Singapore gateway for something else EDIT: more reasoning: I'm better off playing in Garena version, because that means I have chance to meet more Asia player than stagnant Asian population in official server.
