Hi GGG,Is the Singapore gateway removed?

After update to 1.0.1c,I can no longer find the Singapore gateway.What's wrong,can GGG explain?
Edit:for now we can type Singapore in the gateway select box and log in.But if GGG shut down Singapore gateway one day,I hope we can transfer our characters and items to Garena server for free.Otherwise it'll be really horrible,we have invested a lot on this game:time,effort and money etc,we don't want this all become meaningless. It is still present, you need to type in "Singapore" manually. I dislike this change, it is misleading, especially misleading people, using the independent client, into the arms of Garena. Garena was needed for the Steam implementation? Then deal with it that way, don't "urge" people to remake their characters if they did not use Steam in the first place. Yeh it seems like GGG forcing us to eventually move to Garena. Im willing to bet people will just move away from the game instead if that happens.

" I agree completely. This is a horrible BS business decision. GGG are misleading their SEA customers by intentionally hiding features from their game. This will result in a worse gaming experience for new SEA players who don't know about the Singapore Gateway, all in an effort to promote Garena's version of POE. If Garena didn't want to have to compete in fair and transparent way for SEA customers already using the international version of POE then GGG shouldn't have partnered with them. You can't pretend that the international version isn't also for SEA players by hiding the option in the UI. |

Worst thing is...for me, Garena doesn't actually cover me since I'm not in the SEA region. US and AUS servers has too high ping to play on. Why isn't there a China/Japan server?

people don't like to be cheated into doing something GGG.
you can just make an announcement says "No, we don't want SEA people playing on our server, move to the Garena server." I have to emphasize, this really hurt my feelings toward you guys. I can stand the desync, the high pings, but i can't stand being treated like a fool and manipulated into doing things i don't want to. the truth is probably the contract GGG sign with Garena is that they will have to remove the SEA server. " That's the problem, cultural difference that GGG doesn't understand. There's no advantage of playing in Garena, you can't use all the convenience resources like poe xyz.... Got a feeling soon or later ip block will come, having second thoughts.... |
