How about the ping & stability of Gerena server.

Just ask I will definitely quit without the SG gateway, I consider hiding = remove.

It seemed slightly more stable than the SG gateway. But, it is likely that may be because they don't have nearly as many people playing as on the real servers. I also personally lag the most in act 3 and I never got to that point and I don't plan to either. I just wanted to get a feel for the evil we were up against. lol

Characters are centralized, I can totally change the gateway and play with any of my characters, that's why itgs called a gateway and not a server.

Is GGG going to shutdown the gateway in future?

Well GGG did say somewhere that they were not going to shut down the Gateway but saying something means nothing in this world.
Will be interesting to see how much freedom Garena are given with events...And also looks like severely different drop rates from the short time i tried on it.

Just have to wait and see. GGG certainly doing nothing for the Community of players that currently use the Singapore Gateway.

Are they going to make it so that if you want to use America,Australia or Europe gateway then you have to type that in as well.

Treating us like Second Class citizens.

WHY DO GGG not respond and give there justification for doing this ?


The only real reason i can see is that GGG are trying to discourage people from SEA playing this original(discourage by hiding gateway) version of POE and trying to push people to Garena Servers, which again they said NO we would never do anything to change people currently using the Singapore Gateway and playing in SEA.

Honestly, we have been very impressed with Garena so far. The servers will be just as good as our Path of Exile servers, if not better. We're helping out very closely with how the game is run - they're handling aspects that we couldn't do ourselves like marketing in those regions.

so much ping spike on Singapore gateway.
btw, been playing for months and months, never experienced such 'consistent' ping spikes until lately (coincidentally with the Garena thingy ... oh well), and yap, don't think is my isp, cos a few others playing on the Singapore Gateway experienced the same issue.
