Scrotie wants YOU to help prevent PoE's economy from becoming more like D3's

Path Of Exile is as bad as Diablo 3, if you are stupid enough to play it as a 100% ARPG.
No.

yeah, you keep telling that to yourself.
I took a short break to reconsider, because I had enough for now.

I rage-quit D3 for a lot less.

the only things going for Path Of Exile now, in my book, is I still believe GGG have good intentions. still believe that they think with their hearts and minds, rather than fueled by disgusting ActiBlizz corporate greed.
still believe they plan on making the game better.

*sigh*
maybe I'm just naive, idk.

Trading in this game is almost similar to TF2 really.

I don't see why this website is so bad. If anything it just made it even more convenient.
This is something beyond GGG's control. Sure they can make the items be not publicized, but that would take away the uniqueness of the game, and they will end up shooting themselves in the foot.

This is one of the moments that you have to say to yourself "just let it go."
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

I also have a feeling anyone for Scrotie is one of those people who are taking advantage of those who are not knowledgeable enough of this game.

Pretty much the reason why I almost never trade for anything in this game other than paying out for Uniques.

no they are not.
I know some of the people voting for Scrotie here.
good people.
their only problem is short-sightedness in this specific matter.
Scrotie's is too.

From my own stand point, fast trade is the way to go regardless what games I playing.
It's a tad annoying for me where this game don't have a market or personal store system.
Now don't tell me about all those trading-social bulls. It may be your culture but that's certainly not mine. I'm not come to play a business simulator.

I prefer to use http://poexplorer.com/ for their neat interface though.

If you're against trade, then the best game probably offline game like Torchlight 1.
Items having an easily agreed-upon buyout isn't an XYZ problem, it's a game problem.

poe.xyz.is is one of the more destructive influences in the game in terms of making trading less about haggling and more about searchable buyouts.

How does poe.xyz.is prevent people from haggling? Even if item has buyout, you can still negotiate.

Scrotie, you are drunk, go home.

So, you are strictly against buyouts, but at the same time you do use them? Man, whats wrong with you?

he's talking from his personal experience, oblivious to the fact some people use buy-outs to get an idea of market price. a benchmark. a price-range for the real, productive haggling/bartering process, that can result in a good deal for both sides.
people like myself.

even when I contact a seller who specified b/o, I usually ask if the price is negotiable.
some reply "yes".
some reply "no".
some reply something along the lines of "trying to lowball me noob?" - and those are the ones I would never, ever deal with again.
