Thanks god there is such indexing website. It let's me not to waste my time on endless reading of text wall on trade chat, or on browsing countless threads on the forum.

Or GGG could fix crafting and make it viable, while trading very optional. For now, crafting is an absolute waste of everything, so we are left with trading, and indexing website witch allow to search for what exactly need is an angel from the heavens above.

When I came to POE and saw those orbs, I thought "crafting should be amazing and fun in this game", but it was just illusion, because soon after I realized you get fuckin' nothing of orbs. Yeah, exalting, right, cool story... I didn't see such thing since mid OB.

Xyz isnt making PoEs economy anything like D3, RMT is what destroyed their economy. God forbid something in this game not be a complete pain in the ass. How is forcing people to dig through hundred of FS threads to find what they want in any way beneficial?? The day aggregator sites are gone is the day I stop trading all together.

'haggling' also does not exist - it is possible only between two equal players (in terms of market knowledge)

poe.xyz is amazing. I support them entirely. It makes trading easier and practical. Rather than searching on the forums through hundreds of threads for a single item, I instead only spend a few moments. All it does is organize information, and nothing more. The fact that it saves time from it's organization makes it supreme.

I agree, completely.

the way I usually use that site, is search with buyout first, to learn the "market price" - then search all.
if I contact a seller who didn't specify a buyout, I actually know what to reply when he says "offer" - and a real bartering process begins, where we are both on equal terms.

as a result, the odds of a deal taking place increase. a deal that will make both sides happy, as opposed to one side happy and one side ripped off, which seems to happen too frequently.

The sooner the economy of this game becomes like d3, the better, as devs will see it is impossible to have a working economy in this game, and "remove", fix it in future. Economy in games like this suck, they are destroying the game experience directly and indirectly with boring mechanics. I will vote up for it. Thanks for showing me that.

That's just not true. Very few people put buyouts on anything but uniques and gems. Poe.xyz is used, at least by me, to find the item I'm looking for. Finding a ring for example with mana regen, life and fire/lightning resists is close to impossible without sites like this.

The in-game trade chat is horrendous, the forums are worse. This tool is only positive.

Every time I want to buy a rare item I engage in price discussions with the seller because people simply don't have many price references for rare items. When it comes to orb trading or unique buying the prices are fairly set, with or without these sites- but even here we see a lot of price haggling, especially when several people are interested in the same item.

How do you haggle with a seller you can't find?

I always wondered why people would message me MONTHS after I listed an item.

Now I know this indexer is to blame. Though, I don't mind it.

I don't use it.

I sell a lot more than I buy so if it will bring me more perspective buyers than im all in.

Even on a fresh new character, theres really only certain things id look for or buy as it is.
