Chris confirms to go through mid: Scion or bust

This actually suits my skill choices quite well. I've always planned my characters to remain on their half of the tree anyway as an added restriction so that I don't fall into patterns of always taking the same solution.

well said.

i just cant be fucked to remake my archer just because they want to ruin the skill tree.

im not going to remake my characters every time they feel the urge to fuck people over

i am relaxing in EVE Online at the moment ;) but i am still checking in on this to see how the skill tree/etc turns out

if the skill tree is usable for my current guy, i might stick around for a while.

i do enjoy PoE. i dont enjoy being fucked over.

i cant even fathom how i'd have to remake my entire archer as a scion for it to function....

but sporkers remain untouched?!?!? LOLOOLOLololl....the irony....

I agree with Johnkeys for once.
He stated that keystones on the passive tree are going to be moved around to make it so that everyone doesn't reroll scion.

I cant see it doing anything, imo. Scion-league..
I so hope they fuck up some builds. Good riddance I say.

I don't really understand the point of Beta if they are drastically changing the passive tree after fine tuning it for a year now.

Not sure about this, I have a feeling a lot of my builda will be broken, but maybe the new skill tree will keep the players away from goinv through the middle as some existing and new key passives might be placed close to eqch other.

No mod action. Business as usual.

it's to simplify the game.

eg, if you want to be a duelist, you are intended to "stay in your duelist area"

same for any other class.

this makes it easier for them to balance, while subtracting depth

we can probably expect them to break up the passive tree even more over time.

at some point, i see no purpose of even having a shared passive tree....might as well make them independent for each class......

Fucking up current builds with a new passive tree? Clever ploy to make more people re-roll and play on the new leagues.

to me it seems that point is now rather than later.
Scion = prestige class = make a friggin prestige skill tree for her exclusively and leave the actual skill tree as is.
If you're leaving PoE, chances are I'll rezz you as my minion! MWHAHAHAH
Will there be eva nodes in templar vicinity? No? Will there be magic damage/ele damage nodes in duelist/marauder area? No? Will mana shield and eldrich battery be realistically reachable by at least half the classes? No? Then this will kill many crazy/fun builds and make SC even worse than it is now - attack of the (gimped, judging by the passives they showed in gamespot video) scion clones.

The first rule of gaming forums is that gamers have absolutely no fucking idea what they want; they only know what they hate.
