I planned out my build (class choice) based on node optimization. This patch will throw that out the door if scion is actually 1-10 nodes more efficient.

Not sure if it will be the final one but it will be pretty close too it.
Gave me a good idea of what im going to be working with.

As you can see going down from CI to VP will be impossible, best path would be going all the way down Ranger and up into VP at bottom of Scion starting Tree, which wont work. So ill roll Scion and get VP late game and just head up into Shadow/witch as ci crit dagger.

I just hope the south and North East Dex nodes will be a bonus for a crit ci dagger build and not projectile dmg or something like that. But it could be possible a scion crit dagger could be more powerfull then the current CI crit dagger, will see :)

i'm willing to hold back judgment on this until i've seen the actual tree. i do think some of the concerns raised here are very real but until i've seen the tree it's hard to comment with certainty.

None of the builds I currently run go anywhere near the middle of the tree. Hopefully that means my current builds will be able to be remade without having to spend more points for the same stuff I got now.

I don't rly give a damn, since my actual characters will remain in HC league and i will not use them anymore for 4 months

This is how I feel about it.

There's every chance half my builds are messed up, and in fact I expect it (especially the CI shadows I have that will or have gone go Vaal Pact)...but it's not a forgone conclusion for 12 more days.
