Chris confirms to go through mid: Scion or bust

I REALLY dislike this change but I'll give ggg the benefit of the doubt here.
This breaks several of my characters current builds in half, thankfully I play ladder leagues and those characters are dead to me anyway, BUT I know many people will be shocked by this decision.

What do people think about the mid being cross-able by scions only?

It's a GGG's game, they have the right to turn it shit. if you don't like it, just play another game.

I think you missed the point, nobody forbade GGG to do whatever the fuck they want with their game. OP just wanted to discuss the changes with the community.

I think it's fair to be honest, otherwise apart from her look, there would be 0 reason to play her i guess since you could start at the side with one keystone you want, get it early and then just move across to the other, while if she is the only one able to get both it promotes playing her for a strategic point of view rather than just liking how she looks.

i guess you could argue that it kinda forces you to play her for certain builds but it still far less forceful than classes on other ARPG's so i'll let it go.

really lame. there goes another 4-6 nodes i could had if ggg didnt break my optimized build.

I'm a little disappointed, as it directly affects my main (RoA Templar) at the moment, the first char I didn't become bored with by the mid-level 70s. I was looking forward to continuing with it beyond release, but it may no longer be feasible. I'll have to wait to see what the tree ends up looking like to make an informed judgement, but it seems to be another skill tree change which inhibits build diversity and freedom - unless you play a Scion.

Having said that, there are many other things coming with release I am eagerly looking forward to!

Players wanted class identity and now we will have class identity, or a person can have more skill freedom and play scion.

for melee ci with IR and US you dont need more points if you go through the middle or go along the shadow/ranger side and then up to the middle...

he also said that the tree is getting changed and nodes are getting moved around the tree.
