Jokes on you, I've already played the campaign 4 times lol, and I'm still excited about doing it all over again

I still mostly agree though. The issue isn't just that the campaign is long, but that repeating things you've done a million times before gets boring after a while. After years the campaign would feel like a slog even if it was only 5 hours long. Obviously it being shorter will help with making it not feel like it's as much of a slog, but I think there's probably a bunch of other ways they could improve it too.

The campaign in PoE2 on my 5th playthrough is a lot more fun than the PoE1 campaign was on my first playthrough, and I think there's a lot of potential for leagues to ensure the PoE2 campaign feels fun and fresh on a new league. Make it faster, and capitalize on the fact that the campaign is inherently fun in PoE2, not just a slog you need to get through to get to endgame, and I think they've got a really good base for future leagues.

+1 same boat. Played for 4 days, got into t7 maps and bailed.

It has so many design choices i don't like which have been bought up so many times to just get blanket ignored. This weird ruthless / pseudo hardcore endgame is just not it. Make it a mode for the people who enjoy it.

Fun being told to "get gud" when i make my own off meta builds, spend hours finding the right timeless jewels to make them strong by people who are highly likely to play whatever is S++ or deadeye with HH every league when i have cleared all content bar uber bosses in poe 1... with my own builds. POE 2 isn't hard, it's boring.

I don't need to have the content done before Christmas, but I need to know GGG is listening and a least a hint of what they plan to do. Even if it took 3 months to implement, just knowing the direction the game is going would be enough.

Oh you sweet summer child the best preforming builds in POE 2 right now are glass cannon zooming builds, not your slow methodical Dark souls like builds. The current design especially into maps that oneshot tanky builds encourages the all damage no defenses playstyle lmao.

You guys are literally trying to gatekeep PoE2 from existing. A lot of us have been waiting forever for a game like this. You realize the entire reason they made PoE2 as a whole new game was that they knew they wanted to change it so much that it wouldn't be fair to do that to PoE1 players right? I think that was the right choice. But if people are going to try to bend this game into PoE1 then I don't care if you don't get what you want at all.
