Ive written many salty rants about POE2, my main gripe is POE1 lost out in so much and im just not interested in the gameplay of 2. I just wanted POE1 with updated everything.

And I hope they do that like they said they would. So far I like the story and setting, the characters and especially the art of PoE2. I just don't like the difficulty. I don't like souls games, if I did I'd be playing one of those. at the VERY LEAST I want them to take out the full enemy respawn on death. Having to start ALL over because a lucky shot by something I can't see killed me.

I just want to add here there seems to be far too much drama and I even suspect trolling by the tone of some of it, for something that is like two weeks into a beta.
I think neither the over emotional complaining about POE2 and then the countering to that and further complaining about 'POE1 veterans' really is helpful or achieves anything, so much gross generalisation going on.
People should just leave their feedback in a constructive way for the time being, leave it at that and see how GGG progresses from here, and hope they can polish this game into a near perfect gem (historically with POE1 though this worries me lol).
It is all so premature at this point.

Path of Exile 2 is not a sequel to Path of Exile 1.... I don't even know where to begin with this. It is a spiritual successor to Diablo 2? Is this bait? Have you even played diablo 2? I will accept anyone's opinion as an expert if they have 6,000 hours of experience. I might not agree with their opinions, but I will at least respect them.
Yes I played D2 when it launched as a kid. The reason why this feels more like D2 then any other game is due to atmosphere and difficulty.
When D2 first came out we didn't have youtube, streamers, as many build guides. We went in blind. And D2 was the first arpg i played as a kid. And it was difficult for me. POE2 hard hitting punishing difficulty reminds me of that.
You're blind to see. The devs originally wanted to make poe1 slow paced and punishing like D2 until the vision was lost in end game and the constant zoom zoom spam one skill of end game.
You sound entitled. In fact you are entitled. You want everything handed to you without putting in the effort to overcome a challenge. You want to follow a build guide you barely understand, have you ascendancy points handed to you with little effort being put in to improve yourself or the way you play the game.
You want 6 portals so you can spam click your glass canon build and your deaths to be meaningless. You are the vocal minority. The other 400k + opf us are enjoying the game. The game is not dying and it will be more succesful then poe1 if the devs stand their ground.
imma just say one thing
D2 was hard for you, because you where a child. not because d2 was super hard

As always was in PoE 1. If you're not a streamers or CC, you don't exist to GGG, just your wallet.
It isn't premature to critize the game, GGG has 12 years of experiences, feedbacks, miss and hits to lay down a well tuned game from the get go. But, seems they took adventage that would have a holiday break right after Early Access made available to sneaky the so called "Vision" that nobody wants.
Like, they did knew the backlash would be intense with the bad game they put forward and will radio silence after most get tired of "crying" in the forum.
