It is wild to me that EA seems to go over some peoples head though
Its wild that GGG actual stated on at least a couple interviews that they switched gears to focus on having more endgame at launch of the EA because they didn't want to miss player expectation. They knew this was more like a soft launch while they finished building the acts and the other half of the end game,
and still delivered a bunch of garbage. This is in no way a typical EA where they are still building major parts of the game code.
We literally dont have more than half of the game. It is typical EA. The only problem with it are vet players that dont understand what they got into.
Which is wierd as they were told what is was going to be and shown what it was going to be for over several years and now all the sudden ...

The devs have a vision for it and I hope they stick to it and not let these minority croud try to ruin another version of POE. Just gotta hope is all

Ah right, this entirely new crowd of paying customers that didn't pay anything for PoE1. You're right, that makes total sense. Something from nothing is definitely a thing that will happen.
Money dictates what happens to PoE2, nothing else. Maybe you're right, maybe there is a massive userbase that wants PoE2 that has never paid for other ARPGs! I doubt it.

Pretty much its their game we play it. Seems lost on people thinking they have some right to say how a game should go and not.
GGG has a vision and has a goal and for those of us who stick around good on us. We cant alter anything drastic as seen in every change ever suggested and made.
So things like "OMG REMOVE HONOR MEGH" isnt going to happen
But suggesting subtle things that are reasonable might.
Like asking for melee to have just a tad bit smoother walking and attacking animation like ranged players to allow us to have more precise strikes.
Or they can look to anything asked in interviews as well. To kind of get a good idea what suggestions they will listen to.
Seems like they dont pay attention to the interviews though, even though they cite them all the time, and not what suggestions would be reasonable to have.

I mean, again; this is the same company that made PoE1. We know how they work, we know how to influence the outcome, we saw PoE1 change through its existence. It isn't some new wing of GGG that is immune to outside influence and money.
You're all talking like you have some major insight into the way the company works despite ostensibly not playing PoE1. If you weren't there, why do you think you know what's going to happen?
It's very, very weird. I'm not sure where your cavalier confidence comes from with zero historical evidence to back it. GGG had a "vision" for PoE1 too; visions clash with reality and changes are made. That's how live service game development works.
