Floored by the power spike of TRADING. This will ruin the game.
In the games current state. Trading is mandatory due to both the poor drop-rates on items as well as the lack of any actual crafting system.

" These "artificial restrictions" you speak of is called a "video game". That's all a game is, rules by which you play. No one does speed runs of Minecraft Creative mode. A game only has meaning when the rules are properly applied. Playing with trade is like playing pool where you can set the ball wherever you want, you just get to grab an item from the 500,0000,000 drops that fell that day from every other player in the game. Why even have loot tables? Why even have drops from monsters? Just let the player pick from a dropdown what stats they want in exchange for an item that drops every hour. Trade is a fooking joke. |

" Well then put the fucking ball on the pool table in a way YOU DO ENJOY IT and stop complaining about others putting the ball where they enjoy it. You do you. I do me. Thats how trade works. Farming salt on the forums since 2024

" If all games had a big red button, "instantly win game" do you have any idea how much people would be robbed of wonderously fun experiences? Games are designed to be challenging and fun. Trade ANNIHILATES that. Why do you even want items if you can just instnatly get the most powerful gear? Why argue for trade when you could just argue "HEY GGG just take items out of the game and make all enemies die in 1 hit. I enjoy when I'm terribly overpowered and don't have to earn anything". The mechanics of trade are so broken, ruin the game so completely, I have no idea why anyone can argue for it and claim that it enhances their experience. What do you even do in the game after you have the best gear? Start a new character and just load it up with the same gear? Honest question what do you even do in this game when you can buy a full set of gear with a week of farmed currency items? |

" nobody forces you to trade, you could just chose to sell gear and roll gear yourself if the currency drops in SSF are insufficient for your taste. Why do you speak on how other people are enjoying the game - focus on your experience and tailer it to cater towards it. That is within the bounds of trade. Changing trade would ruin my experience and others who enjoy trade - so why would you want to ruin our experience actively, by making us UNABLE to chose when to trade, just because you cannot pace yourself. Love influx of new blood, they're so inventive that they invent SSF every single day.

" I don't know why I'm bothering to engage, but the entire point of online games and games in general is to have a set of rules, by which the game is most enjoyable, or does a great job of measuring skill while ENHANCING the aspects of play that make the game fun and competitive. If you can't grasp that unrestricted trade devolves the nuance of itemization and the thrill of playing the game and finding loot in a game INHERENTLY about killing enemies to find fun loot, then I have no idea what to tell you or how we can even have a conversation about the matter as the foundational elements of this conversation seem to be going over your head. Also please answer this question, it's important: What do you even do in this game after you buy a full set of gear with a week of farmed currency items?
