Floored by the power spike of TRADING. This will ruin the game.

I mean... out of all the problems this game and developer have, this is what you focus on?

you really think it doesnt affect things in the slightest?

The game is balanced around trade. Opting out of trade makes it significantly harder. People don't want to opt out of trading generally to make it harder, they want to opt out because its a pain in the ass. You should be able to not trade, and not have to suffer a lack of gear options.
I'm done buying anything until we get some clarity on the future of POE1 and POE2 and I know GGG plans to spend effort on a game I want to play.

Tell us if POE1 still has your top tier support or if POE2 will get a mode for more casual play.

You call "difficulty" tedium and boredom, frustration and masochism. That's not difficulty, it's not knowing how to do things right. Very nice scenarios, but errors everywhere, even the skills look worse than in poe-1. They don't know how to recognize mistakes, and they delude themselves, not wanting to see reality, as you do. They will pay for their mistakes, because many people will go to other games or to Poe-1 if it holds up decently...

If they don't pay attention to the veterans, those who led them to success, they're going wrong. Difficulty yes, tedium no, masochism no.

You call "failure" making a world renown game that garnered more success than anyone anticipated.
Yes..

I really think it doesn't affect things in the slightest.

At all. Even a little bit.

Not even a tad, a bit, a smidge, an eensy-weensy amount, not even miniscule amounts.

You literally don't have to trade in this game.

And if you do, you don't have to buy the OP stuff....

Use some self control.

I can't decide whether you're more smarmy, condescending, or just flat out wrong. Preaching about self control while acting like a total ass isn't a good look.

By your logic no game is ever poorly designed. Just make up your own rules and play by those to make the experience better.

How anyone can sit there and expect others to make up rules to make a game enjoyable is mind blowing. Our job as a player is to do everything in our power to win, if somethiung breaks that experience it's poor design or a bug.

trading is fine, if you dont want that cheap power spike, then just play SSF
Yeah, well.. I'm not the one focusing on something that doesn't make a difference in my playthrough as if it's the immediate problem in the game.

They need an AH in-game and they need to update/ditch this website.

Pretty obvious.

It seems like you're one of those people that complain about microtransactions "ruining the game" even though they only affect the person that buys them.

It's not about game design, it's about complaining about something you can just not participate in or limit your participation in... all on your own.

You're basically asking for GGG to put parental locks on aspects of the game for you.

The main problem is with the game being balanced around trade. People who don't want all power coming from trade don't necessarily want their progression to be slower, I just want items that matter frequently dropping like any other game in the genre. Right now progress only feels nice and steady with trade. If you play SSF or don't trade at all you will have much more of a slog of an experience than any other ARPG offers.

That is a double digit IQ take. Drop rates are balanced around trade. Drop rates affect all players.

That doesn't even make a little sense...

So you're saying you can't control how much you trade or how OP of items you select to buy from other players because "RNG" told you to?

Trading tickets or some sort of currency to trade is the only way to stop the constant relisting. If people are offering you what you want just sell... I would rather have crafting more straight forward instead of the wheel of luck. It does not need to be BIS by no means but my goodness, so many useless stats.
