They always move the goalpost because they never had a point to begin with.

They say the campaign is too hard.
When you show them evidence it's not, they'll dismiss it and say "come back when you're done with maps", or "look how much money I spent on supporter packs, therefore I am correct" (lol?)

They say the loot is too little.
When you show them evidence it's not, they'll say you're just lucky.

They complain about minion witch (of all classes).
When you show them evidence that minions are good and offer help, they'll reject it, and say you're just using OP stuff.

They say that we are "sweaty hardcore players wanting to gatekeep".
When you show them that the "difficulty" they mean is bosses that melt down in 5 seconds due to the busted gear we're showered with, they'll come up with another bullshit reason or excuse why you're actually wrong.

You can't have a reasonable discussion with them, because to them it's not about finding out the truth.
They're trolls.

You can give them all the help and show them all the evidence that and why their point is incorrect, and the only thing they will do is move the goalpost.

And this is why GGG has opened the door for people to seek to ruin a wonderful game. Because their demands are never going to stop. You give them this, and they'll want more. They'll always move the goalpost.

I only get to play maybe 2 hrs a night and I had no problems with the way loot was handled for the most part.

The only change I like is how a boss will now drop a rare, this leaves a level of helpful progression to the next stage.

But what I don’t want is to be showered with it, and now any semblance of strategy is thrown out the window because I can now face stomp.

Sorry to say but a lot of working class still like a challenge, look at Dark Souls and Elden Ring. You think those games are popular because of people who play video games for a living?

Same, need something to eat while I am enjoying YouTube Videos of people complaining about "too much loot" but then they show it and it's just shitty for their character (aka thinking 8% of one res on a gear is good). I guess the same "gitgud" guys think uniques are the pinnacle loot in PoE. Meanwhile, 98% of uniques are trash.

Well, my point is that I hope that they revert these needless buffs that are showering level 6 characters in yellow gear.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's experience will be different. If we're talking about early game, take me for example.
I am part of the new crowd to POE in general.
I started Sorc and play with a buddy who is on Monk
Most of the gear that we find are whites, and not even usable whites. We will find shields, heavy armor, maces, heavy greaves, things we don't use. And if we saw a unique drop (we had seen maybe three drop and we were almost at the end of Act 2) it was probably for another class. For example, we had a Unique shield drop and a Unique mace. Sounds great for a Warrior. Not so much for us.
The loot system is certainly not "showering us with yellows" but I am also not complaining loudly. I do not have complaints about drop rates, because I know that the good gear is sure to come with time. We save the orbs that we do get because we know that it is probably pointless to use them on our current gear because it will become irrelevant in just a few levels. I think split between the two of us, we've found a total of maybe 20 orbs of Aug/Trans, and 3 regals, 1 exalted. Almost through two acts.
