75% less flask charges is insane

Regarding flask charge nerf: I think 75% reduction in flask charges is perfectly reasonable. In the current game, I can literally kill a single pack of monsters and get back to full charges in almost all content. That's a little ridiculous. I also think that, once you get into the rhythm and learn the new mechanics 75% reduction is going to be practically unnoticeable in the grand scheme of flasking. You just won't be 100% immune 100% of the time anymore which is perfectly fine.

It doesn't matter much if you are a player that just takes a build to lvl90-lvl95 and then rerolls. Since a death here and there doesn't matter much. For those of us who also grind all the way to lvl100, having some form of permanent immunity does matter. Will have to see how it plays out but I think it's going to be quite frustrating getting into situations often with no flasks and things around that can freeze you.

I already stopped using the current unnerfed flasks to get freeze immunity over a year ago because it's not always up if stopping to do certain content. eg. opening up Harvest patches. You're no longer going to be able to fill up flasks before the next patch. Even in the current game it was tight. So if there are mobs that crit/freeze/have cold damage in the next patch, there's a chance you'll get perma frozen and die.

isnt THE way to get to 100 just chain farm breachstones? last ive checked you could get to 100 in a day or two using this method. something changed recently?

chaining risky maps might be cool but if the goal is 100.. why would anyone do that?

Because breachstones are boring, have to party up which means waiting for others and lag, is not profitable, and you also miss out on all the other content the game has to offer.

I always play solo and do all content, except maybe skipping endgame bosses like Uber Elder, Maven, etc.

Edit: I also do other content like Heist. Took my last lvl100 character from lvl99 to lvl100 by just running heist contracts. Opening doors in heist without immunities will be rough now. It's stop and start content so flasks are hardly going to be up.

That is a choice you make then. If you choose to take the road less traveled, then you accept the risks and pain that goes with it. Your complaint is akin to someone in SSF upset they have problems finding gear.

Getting 100 is hard and boring. I did it by running tier 11 strands. It took me about a month at 8 hours a day. If you choose to make it harder, so you're not "bored," then you can't complain when you choice bites your in the arse.

You are opting for more challenge with your decisions. That's fine. But don't gripe about what you did to yourself.

Decoys, totems, reflections, minions, ice wall - these things all work wonders in Heist. I've been using them very effectively to sail through Heist contracts and Blueprints.

You can actually play the game normally to 100. You can 99-100 solo with the new atlas passives in <150 properly rolled T16s. Chain pure Chayulas only if you're rushing 100 or you're just lazy.

Also 5 ways are much better for 99-100 if done properly, although it's prone to crashes hence why most opt for Pure Chayula.

Who cares about flask that are going legacy? If you want a challenge when you play poe, regardless you play in the temp leagues, where legacy mods and gear aren't available.

I care. Because I make a lot - and I mean mirrors-worth - of currency on these sorts of items.

And lots and lots of other people care as well, since they buy said items from me.

So you are all for nerfs because it benefits your bottom line. That sounds about right with the contributions I've seen so far.

Anyone that plays temp leagues want to chime in and contribute?
