To reach level 100 it takes skill, the will, and the patience. You do an excellent job pointing out the hardest part, that is the patience. Most all folks posting in this forum have the necessary skill which is why it was assumed in your post.

Yes, that is basically what I meant. Just a general idea of how the game works. For example, someone would have to be skilled enough to find a build description they like (searching youtube as you mention or looking in the builds section of the forum) then follow that build recipe and get the character to level 95. The hardest part is the patience as you described.

That person saying when you get more old you dont want to lose time or something similar have a big point, and I want to agree when you get more old your vision is worse your reflexes too... that things...

That guy saying not all people is like this is just obvious but not works to take down the fact.

Im not young anymore, I cant lose time anymore, lose progress is lose time, I died 2 times this afternoon, first on a ritual that was narrow corridor with poor light and some kind of explosion killed me oneshot without knowing I was in the area because I see no area... second one was on some kind of boss that did like "anime" killing move teleport from A to B sword on hand and I died oneshot. All the afternoon progress lost, all my spare time to have fun just lost... and was just level 95 to 96, I dont want to imagine 96 to 97.

But not just that about lose progress, not feeling really good with that fear and stress wanting to reach the new level and no lose the experience I did, is not a reward to get the level, it's a knife on your back, is like "give up on get a new level to have fun", was nothing fun that afternoon leveling even without the death moments with that feeling of nerves and stress, just not worth it at all personaly.

Then probable you all who defend that system are right... like all the friends I have playing another game on a guild and they dont want to come to play POE for different reasons, one of them are that system of progress punishement... This is not my game, sadly, and more sad when I notice there is no good alternative xD... well, I will try to read the patch notes every 3 months.

See you next time I get hyped by a new season but I notice the same problem after a while xD. Have fun!

I don't believe any game changes because it desperately needs to accommodate the demographic with slower reflexes and poor eyesight.
It's about your own choosen balances in defences and offensives if you reach lvl90, 95 or 100. How often you die is a concrete result of your defences.
Most people don't know that they are playing a glascannonstyle build. When you get oneshotted, you pla a glascannon. You have more offensive, but are missing substain or defence.

There are so many damagetypes you must be able to defend. You have to know your last weak resistances or your last dangerous bosses too. But you can level easy to 100 in almost all content when you also focus on defence.

For example this build uses 17 mechanics on the defensive site and top healing with 2800 es/ block and is not a glascannon. In the "index of defences" is a chapter how to react to all damagetypes.

3.13 Endgame: The Agonyca Arachnophobia Allstars - 8 mill. dmg, 9000+ ES, 140000 Armour, 90% pdr, 2800 ES on max block

I hate also the exp-penalty, but with it you have to start to deal not only with your damage and also with your tanky side to go further than 95.

It's hard, but about the rules of the game. It could stop on lvl 95, so you would not need to invest in your defences, that would be only shorttime funny. A more boring result to go only for damage and only for speed .

To go for 100 is hard, but you learn about the complete content of the game on the road.

atm the real fail is that zones with monsters ilvl 84-85-86 dosnt give more xp or dosnt give a reduction on penality level.

so atm the +1 watchstones are irrelevant and not a way to get more xp. its sad.

Oh my, gee, who would have thought that punishing player for playing the game was a dismotivating factor instead of a fun factor! Such thing never would've occurred to me.
