Actually, its not. You can run something like Jungle Valley all day and get that. Even early in the league, people were buying that crappy Lost Maps prophecy just to get beach and valley maps to run for shards.

You arent going to be running Cells map and getting 30, though. But you will almost always get 15+ even on those trash maps, and if you pick good lay out maps, like Jungle Valley, or Beach, or anything like that, you can get 30+ easily.

I know this, and so do others, by doing Sirius speed spawns, where you just run white maps to spawn Sirius. But, I'm not a streamer and the shards were important to me, so I just ran it as fast as possible like a normal map and collected the shards before I left the map.

The speed in which you run the maps was every bit as important to shard generation as the amount of stuff you put on it. If you getting like 10 shards per map, you are running really bad layouts, and/or you are too slow.

And, Im not advocating running the maps white. My point is, you get basically guaranteed exalt shards every single map in the form of simulacrums, can even earn quite a chunk of them on a white map, too. So, if you are broke this league, you are broke because you arent even playing the game. There is no argument here. Every single person posting about being broke and having nothing, have like 0-15 challenges done. They arent even playing the game at all.

You dont hear too many 26-36+ challenge people saying they are broke. Its the guys who have did a handful of maps TOTAL, talking about how hard it is to earn currency in a league that guarantees you an exalt every 10-20 maps. I just cannot take these people seriously. Its painfully obvious they just arent playing the game, and are just complaining on the forum.

i'm not broke but 30 splinters per map is just BS. even in a 6 man group fully juiced map,we dont get 30. i did a solo t2 strand before and got 7 splinters and i cleared the whole map.
are you just talking from your own experience or what? You use a HH to run the maps so dont tell us that we can all get as many splinters as you

How do you think I earned that HH? Did it fall out of the sky? You guys act like good gear just materializes out of thin air for people. Like somehow, we didnt slog our way through maps and Simulacrums to earn enough currency to get it. And no, you dont need it. Matter of fact, I made a point to take a vid for people wondering what simulacrum 20's were like without a HH, like somehow, there was no way I could do it without it. How the hell do you think I earned the currency to buy it in first place? lol. I just dont understand the logic of people. So, I threw a 10c Stygian Vise on, and did a Sim 20.

Matter of fact, while I was typing this up, I logged on and recorded a white map I ran. No sextants, no HeadHunter. Would you look at that? 42 Shards. The one I ran before it white, I accidentally had sextants, so I scrapped it, and it was 47.

this was in tier 16 maps, we never tried plain white maps...you know there is something wrong with the game when you need to run plain white maps to get the most shards.
i was always told to juice up maps as much as possible to get the most rewards and now here i am finding out that you just need to throw in a tier 1 white map for max gains....at this point it seems like the game is just trolling people

I dont run white maps. I'm not even playing anymore tbh. That was the first map I ran in 2 weeks. I was proving a point. If I juice a map up, I earn 70-90+. My point is, you could literally RUN THESE MAPS WHITE, and make bank this league. Not that you need to. I mean why would I lie about that? lol. I had to log on and record it, to prove to you guys, you can earn currency running the map as easy as possible. And if someone says they couldnt earn currency this league, they are literally not playing the game, and their opinions on the league in general shouldn't be taken seriously whatsoever. I mean, you damn sure can't make currency with 8 challenges and 10 maps done total for the league.

If you are earning less than 30 shards fully investing in your maps, you are just doing something wrong or running the wrong maps. If you alch/sextant Lair/Maleformation/Promenade/whatever, you are going to earn like 60-70+ easily.

PoE rewards knowing what you do a lot. You seem totally lost. Instead of complaining try start learning what works. If you want to farm simulacrum splinters do tropical island, malformation or any other map that provides enough delirum depth. It is trivial for those maps to get 30+ splinters consistently with alch and go. More investment gives better results ofc. Have a look at the many how-to-farm simulacrum splinters vods on youtube if you want more info on this.

i honestly dont care anymore. GGG clearly designs each league for streamers and you 36/40 challenge guys, they dont care about the casuals,which is fine. i can afford a HH in standard now so i will probably skip next league and play standard with a HH and have some fun for the first time

FYI this is the first league I've ever gotten 36 challenges, and the first time I've owned a HH in league. Because, I played the game this league, thanks to Covid messing with work. Almost any other league, I play a cheap Cyclone/RF build, work 50+ hours a week, and play a handful of hours, and generally cap out with 10-15ex builds. I casual it up. But, I have the wherewithal to know this game is all about time invested, and if you just run the damn maps, and play the game, you will have currency. Maybe if you guys played more instead of making excuses, you would see that, too. I wont earn 36 challenges next league. I wont own a HH either. Partly because of playtime, and partly because there wont be currency raining from the sky like it does with Simulacrum.

Serious, no exalted. None ever. My highest maps were T6, there were no drops for anything higher either. Wondering how people progress, and then to a point where they bring up "25 ex" as if that was Walmart gear, and 25 ex pocket change.
