Why am I playing Hc in SC?

Some responses really remind of the D3 "special snowflake" players...

BTW what was I thinking when I thought I could have a discussion in an ARPG forum, must have been the beer... Forgot for a second everyone is a super pro player that never dies, never make mistakes and know how to get to 100 in 3 days with 4734743 ex in stash all maxed gear, and we "filthy casuals" should return to our randomness and stfu forever, because of course we are not entitled to have voice 'cause you know, casuals...

Games change, people not.
"There's no thing like random one-shots in this game. You only die because you take 353,456,237 hits in 0.2 seconds."

"The best items in the game should not be crafted, they should be TRADED." - Cent, GGG
SC rip at 91 - Rerun the handful of maps it takes for 10% xp.

HC rip at 91 - Rerun acts 1-10, rerun 4x labyrinth, reacquire endgame gear set + jewels, rerun maps to level up to 91... then the handful of maps it takes for 10% xp.

We tested it extensively
It's funny all these tryhard responses of people that cant even get to 100 themselves saying the current system is fine.

Serious, why am I playing HC in SC? If I was not supposed to die, I'd go play HC. If I'm not an awsome pleyrr and do some mistakes from time to time, why should I get a day of play wasted?

Serious, why in 2019 we still have 10% exp loss if we have many other things that happen if you are too low/unprepared to that content level?

I do 20 T12 maps to get 10% of my exp, and a little mistake or secret ambush from syndicate wastes it all?

Inb4 "you play squishy noob git gud etc" I know my build and my character, and I do mistakes sometimes. Who doesn't? Should I get a day of play wasted because of that?

u aren't playing HC so change the title :')
3.26 when?
Don't abandon us. don't turn your backs on the ones loving poe.

I completely agree with you, i felt the same way for a long time on glass cannon builds, now with the syndicate and delves i can't imagine playing glass cannons or similar.

I've been dying a lot recently . . . Guess I'll be stuck on Lvl 90 forever.

Why am I dying? Some bonehead mistakes, yes. But lately it's been BS post-death effects that happen when some bosses/monsters are killed - you know, like some explosion you can't avoid that wipes out your hp in one foul swoop. (I'm a melee player, so some of you should know what that is like).

Get rid of that shit. Death in this game should be by attrition or poor strategy, not some sudden and fatal jack-in-the box surprise.

If this can't be rectified, then how 'bout a flat rate 5% penalty. Or keep the 10% rate and undo the xp reduction that's now in place for lvl 90 and above.

People hit 100 in a couple days, even in SSF. It's still too easy to level. Also, are those last 2 or 3 skill points really that impactful?

I say this as someone who's never gone beyond 94.

This is the kind of casual player I 100% respect. Knows exactly what they're doing and is happy with it.

Meanwhile, OP is still spouting stuff like this, while refusing to acknowledge that they fundamentally misrepresented their skill at this game *and* the exp mechanics.

No, OP, you cannot play 10 t12 maps at level 91 and then lose "all of that progress" in a single death. Some of us actually play enough of the game to know that you're making 10% exp in just two deathless maps. The problem, apparently, being that you aren't successfully chaining more than two deathless maps.

Plenty of us can hit 100 when it comes to SC, HC not so much.

I can hit 100 if I wanted to, but frankly I have a hard enough time finding motivation to map as is. If I played a particular way I could be extremely efficient, but most of us know that you should actually enjoy your gaming experience.

Creating multiple characters during a league and experimenting with unfamiliar builds along with micromanaging a stash of varying values also are more valuable to me than simply having a handful of characters at max level.
Yep, totally over league play.
If you die in a map but hten you kill the boss you recover 5% exp that would be awesome.
