Why am I playing Hc in SC?

I'm not feeling this one OP. Anyone can hit 100 with Poorjoy and/or Breachstone rotations. The best and most dedicated players running good builds can hit 100 in other ways. Sounds like you're not in the latter group (I'm not either), but you also don't want to take the available path for lesser players like us to make it to 100.
It sounds like you simply don't have what it takes to get there in maps - just admit it. You're not fit enough to climb the mountain, but there's a gondola right there to take you to the top. If the view from the top is really that important to you, you should just hop in and ride up, but don't demand they remove the challenge for players who enjoy it by making the climb less steep. |

^ What a goddamn nonsense. This is not a mountain, it is a video game. If you want a challenge go climb that f*cking mountain. Try Himalaya. If you want to challenge yourself with a game, try chess or go. There's some challenge and see for yourself, no XP penalty but a real learning curve.
Accordingly, punishing does not equal challenge. Honestly though, you could of course call DC:s and lagspikes 'a challenge' as well, if you will. Some others might call them technical flaws. |

" This is really the only response needed for the entire topic. OP is talking about "level 97 world problems" at level 91. They don't "make mistakes from time to time", they basically faceplant constantly into all content while having no idea what's going on. That's the only way to get stuck at 91 while running red maps. |

I die regularly because my builds are only Ok and I play carelessly. I'm used to it but get frustrated when I die if I'm over 60%. Oh well. My goal is level 90 each league.
I think, if the goal is to make getting to 100 "more difficult", then just put a cap on move speed at +45%. Of course, harder here just means takes longer. I like the idea of bosses resetting after a player dies. "Gratitude is wine for the soul. Go on. Get drunk." Rumi

There has to be a meaningful death penalty or the game will stop being fun for all of the other players who try hard not to die. Your fun has to be balanced with the fun of everyone else, too.
That said, xp loss is not necessarily the only thing that could accomplish this. If you have a better idea, chirp up and let's hear it. Man does not stop playing because he grows old. He grows old because he stops playing. - Oliver Wendell Holmes

People hit 100 in a couple days, even in SSF. It's still too easy to level. Also, are those last 2 or 3 skill points really that impactful?
I say this as someone who's never gone beyond 94. |

Who wants to death spam their way to level 100?
