[Sept 18] Player-player Trading
I just want to see some kind of trading interface that dosent involve dropping an item on the ground to possibly get it swiped w/o getting the item that was supposed to be traded for. Just a simple trade window with a lock so items cant be switched out ala D3 trade scams ><, then a confirm to seal the deal.

I don't mean to be off-topic here, but... ...if the trading system is going to be integrated into the forums so the client can't be loaded, I really hope that a vendor-recipe + item-combination vendoring system is included with that. I'm using PoE helper in Chrome right now, but with 30 tabs completely full of items it has become a multi-hour task to vendor all the matches in my stash. It would be nice if that could be streamlined to a few clicks from the web page.

Hopefully the out of game client version will enable a store front type thing where I can just set the price per item and I don't have to be there whenever the seller wants to buy it.

Anything, just don't make an auction house.
Also, if you have a window for trading anywhere there must be some mechanisms to prevent item swapping before trade (OR a trade system where this is not possible by design). |

While we're on the topic of trading, could you incorporate a system that allows for:
- checking duplicating rare names between you and a different user (if they allow for it?)? Right now it's a pain to do topics like these and go through massive lists of possible item combinations. I know some folks enjoy that and I'm sure it will one of many trading options, but I prefer to be killing stuff when I'm playing a game. I'd like to see a searchable, web-based player store system, where you make a store with the items you have for sale and how many of which currency you want for them. Players can buy the item, or make a counter-offer with gear or a different currency that you'd be able to accept. |

" I didn't understand ... why you can't play while having opened the #trade chan ? Like you do actually with the Global Chat, you are not forced to be in town to read Global Chat, same for Trade Chat. The problem with Auction House or something similar is this game is based on looting, if you can buy top stuff/gear for every lvl tier you reach it will unbalance the game heavily in my opinion. |
