List of my attemps to fix it. -Waiting -Restarting -Trying every possible setting combination -Set it to lockstep -Set it to Predictive -used guru to limit the frames after my monitor -tried MSI gaming app -Used system mechanic to clean -restarted again -Tried using both the steam launcher and the standalone -Wrote to support and checked forums and now im here -i might have done more stuff to my pc but at this point idk If you need more info from me just say so donno what to show you from my dxdiag cuz i have no clue how to attach files to this forum, and i dont know what part of it you want, its alot of text. I ran some test together with a friend, and find it that, path of exile pulls more gpu usage than BF1. The temperatur on my graphics card goes upto 65-72 degrees celsius, when playing for two minutes, so i tried customizing msi afterburner to run at a higher fan speed when hitting does temperaturs, it works, for now. When doing "flashy fights", like spiderlayers boss fight the framerate immidatly drops below 100fps where it had been going " steady" between 153-132fps before, my wildstrike build does not help either. Arc seems to cause massive load when chaining on more than 4 enemies. I have more and i would make a vid or gif or something but cant be bothered till i actually see some response or something on this, for now i can "play the game" not good, not even meh, but i can run it and i can run around and do stuff. But its only when i open path of exile it makes it, at first it sounded like one of the fans wasnt mounted right, but i checked everything and its only when i open poe... i dont get it, what is this. somekinda hardware fail caused by path of exile... im even more confused now The noice comes from the cpu cooling or somewhere near that, im using wind cooling Update: I'm back where i started, im crashing, im lagging in frames, and the rubberbanding has been taking to a whole new level -Not solved yet Another update i guess: " should i buy a new pc im confused, what are you trying to get at here. Update:
-So i tried uninstalling my display driver and reinstall, no help. -toggled post processing off, it runs smooth for longer periods of time but still drops -using vsync just makes the drops between 144fps - 72fps Dungeons IIII

Your specs are almost identical to mine and I'm having the exact same problem since 2.6. The main difference is I have a 970 and 8gb of RAM. The framerate seems to completely ignore vsync and I cannot play currently. Another seemingly related problem I'm having occurs when i close PoE: I completely lose control of my mouse and keyboard for about 15 seconds. It's even worse in fullscreen mode because the screen goes black and sometimes won't ever recover. Sometimes I can't even get PoE to start again without restarting Steam.
I've tried rolling back nvidia drivers, using a frame limiter, disabling effects, changing network modes and restarting my PC. I'm not claiming that I've never had any problems with PoE before but all of this behavior is new for me with 2.6. |

Update:
-first thing i did when starting my pc up today was open path of exile to see if anything had changed it did not change. thought the drop in frames are less freequent they are still quite noticeble and im still not daring enough to play on with this, it keeps freezing sometimes where it stops for a few seconds, not like desync where i cant respond and nothing moves for like 0.5 seconds todays picture:

when you want to play but dont wanna die cuz lag is trying murder your ass- wanna make a gif of the lag(frame drops/chokes) but my shadow play was off last time it happend(30 min ago) if it does the samething with rolling me back a few meters again im gonna make a gif and put it here, donno if it helps me get this solved or im just gonna play standard again. (which want solve my lag, but will make it less painfull to die from it) again i mean lag as in frame chokes drops whatever we call it now, my ping havnt been this good ever, its perfectly stable most of the time. Having same issues after 2.6 patch. Was at stable 160 fps before(never dropped below 60 and i was playing at max video settings). Now oscillates between 10 and 100 fps even when afk in town on lowest video settings.
