i7 + 970:
- dx11 - bad. - dx9 (recommended) - much better. Last edited by Rexeos#3429 on Mar 24, 2017, 9:02:52 AM

Having the same problem here. In Breach league everything was fine but with this League I sometimes have massive FPS lag spikes especially in parties.
6600k - Sapphire Rx480 Nitro 8gb - 16gb RAM Dx9 - Lots of FPS drops (Didn't have lags at all on this API before Legacy League) Dx9 (Experimental) - Even more fps drops than non-experimental one Dx11 (Beta) - Same lags as previous one, especially when playing in a party with friends Last edited by Liyern#3250 on Mar 24, 2017, 12:38:30 PM

" try editing a few options in your radeon settings: Gaming: ->Global Settings: -->Global Graphics: --->Frame Rate Target: Set this to 5-10FPS above your monitor refresh rate. ex. My monitor refresh is 60Hz so I set this to 65 FPS. -->Global WattMan: --->Power Limit (%): Increase this up to 10-20 which will allow your card to draw more power when it needs to. ->Path of Exile: -->Shader Cache: On -->Frame Rate Target: On ..and thats it for the settings. if you update or uninstall your drivers make sure to check these occasionally to make sure they havent been changed. sometimes driver updates include changes to some of these settings (especially Wattman) and you may have to set these again. | |
