But going all doomsday on the forums and spout nonsense like "It's the end of the game yaddayadda" is not helpful at all.

There'll be alot - and i mean ALOT - of balance changes anyway. There are 2 more Acts which have to be implemented and everytime the whole scaling of the game will change drastically.


you're level 49 that's all that needs to be said.

once you hit 60+ give me a ring on how right i was.


22 points in defensive skills, including the nodes it took me to get there. Level 73, doing fine.

Not sure how anyone can disagree with this. If you've played this game a while you know that HP or energy shield is the most important stat.
Lord_vital first get up to merciless difficulty, and try grinding levels over 85 with the 15% XP loss on death before speaking like you know anything about the game becoming an easy cakewalk.

There is a clear difference between difficult and impossible. Buy a dictionary and look them up. Maybe actually try building a class cannon character yourself and find out that the game isn't merely 'difficult', but its absolutely impossible to gain any experience points from midway through cruel difficulty.

Only HP now actually. Everyone that's tried running a CI & Ghost Reaver shadow have told me in game that it is impossible to expect it to work im the endgame, and they drop dead in 2-3 hits and can't melee anything.

This game is absolutely not fun when you get to the end unless you take every possible HP node. People aren't going to stay if the game remains like this, they are going to get fed up and leave.

I agree too, which is why the dev. team has posted multiple times saying they are working on making melee viable, Duelist viable, and tweaking the trade system. GGG is laying there cards down in front of us, a lot of people just are not paying attention.

Yes, i already understood that, but you probably didn't understood my post. I don't act as i know everything about the game. In fact i know very little about it. I just speak with my mind and heart. Changes will be done one way or another. The game is in beta. But changes done in excess that favor the player will do no good to the game. That's all i want to say.
that's pretty nice actually, es is about 10x more useful than evasion though considering so it makes sense.

Not this again. I've already addressed this in the other thread. GGG are currently only working around making melee viable WITH stacking HP nodes. They are not doing anything to fix the issue of being able to win the game and be able to play the end game without maxing your HP.

My glass cannon templar is not a melee first of all. He is a cold crit caster with no HP nodes because he will be taking CI. He has all the ice magic and aoe keystones near the witch area, but he can't kill anything in cruel difficulty with Ice Nova without dropping dead from just one or two hits.

The same and only issue that's making melee unfun for my shadow is the over reliance on HP. There's absolutely nothing wrong at all with the melee skills or pbaoe skill, the issue is that melee and pbaoe cannot survive because you are too close to the enemies.

Game should be hard on the survival side.

With that said, I have great confidence they will balance it, tweak it.
