kill the hp node requirement

1. being forced to spec 50-70% of your nodes into hp gives little to no meaning to all the other possibilities.

2. impossible to survive without? cmon.

3. it shouldn't be required that we sacrifice all (to almost all) dps to survive.

I know haters gonna hate, but look at the facts, if they don't change the forced hp node system diversity will drop to maybe 2-5 builds (as opposed to the hundreds that are possible mid-game), and it definitely isn't motivating to level up to a new hp node.

its early on. your first characters are naturally going to need a ton of defensive stuff.

when you are building a character that you have a ton of defensive+hp gear for, you will be able to do more dps nodes (i hope)

That's not what im hearing, almost every end-game player is talking about pushing at the very least 50% of your nodes into hp, and then following an ele build as a ranger, but that's stupid being forced into a single viable build for a character is about the same as diablo 3 diversity, and if that's the case there really is no point in playing.

doesn't matter where they are in the game, its early on. the fact that most end game characters have hp and defensive nodes stacked this early on only supports what I said.

let me know what most people are doing with their points in about 12 months, then we can see if there is any problems at all.

The question you should ask yourself is, are you ignorant enough to believe that there's only one build in this game?

If yes, then you deserve 50% of your passive nodes reserved into HP.

This is not the case. There are enough HP nodes scattered throughout the passive tree that people can and do make very different builds while still being able to get enough HP on the way to survive Merciless.

you can think what you want but at the end of the day it's pretty much the truth, stacking defensive and armor is the only way to not get face-rolled in merciless.
1st of all stop listening to others and test it for yourself. i know its a cliche but its a shame so many just follow premade builds and listen to other noobs who are running premade builds...

the game is free and not going anywhere...there is no prize for rushing to "end-game" and getting bored. try out a ton of builds and gear especially at high levels and i bet you change you opinion.

Defense is important, it's highly important in this game. That doesn't mean there's only one way to spec defense.
