Why do some players lose their passion for PoE ?

I may lost passion for the game long time ago but i actually didn't lost passion for the forums yet, so it could have been much worse :)

Shitty drop rates, Desync, Legacy items, retarded story (RIBBONS LOLOLOL), RNG-dependent end game, no trading system, new players getting mugged,expensive leveling,.... and the list goes on

I'm finding it harder and harder to come back due to the crafting system really being a gambling system and rarely does a usable item drop at 60+
Having said that poe has been an amazing experience, easily put a couple of thousand hours into it :) Blasphemous HC-SSF Path of Exile 2 enjoyer.

If I ate enough chocolate, I'd burn out on that, too (for a while, at least). Sometimes I'll take a break from PoE, but I always come back. =^[.]^=

i lose my passion every couple of months, due to the pure fact that if i put in a no lifer amount of hours into the game, i get a casuals amount of loot/currency....if i put a casuals amount of time into the game, well then, im just wasting my time really....

Haven't lost my passion. Still making new chars regularly. I just don't exhaust the content in a month by playing 24/7.
