That's awesome my man, I have no idea what you're talking about or its relevance to this thread, but I love your passion no less!

The same reason people lose their passion for anything. You can only throw so many hours at something before you have to step back and take a break.
Look at how many hours Krip put into PoE, is it really surprising that he needs a break? Any game that I can put over a thousand hours into, that is a pretty sound investment right there. Sometimes you just have to take a step back, and come back later.
There is only so much to do in the game, after all.

I've played Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo for years before moving on to Quake 2 and Quake 3, then i've played those for years before moving on to World of Warcraft, then played that for years before moving on to Stalker & Minecraft, then played those for years before moving on to Heroes of Newerth, then i played that for years before moving on to Path of Exile and i'll surely keep on playing it for years before i move on to another game.

But even though i've written "moved on", i never really ditched any of those games; when i feel in the mood for playing any of those, i simply install them or fire them up again and play them for as long as i feel like playing them. I have about 20 games on my PC at the moment and even though i don't currently play most of them, it's not like they're gonna hate me for it or destroy my PC if i don't play them in regular intervals ;)

Some players stop for a while and come back when they feel like it, some play for years and then leave for good, some try out a couple of games and don't continue playing any of them and some take a look at a game and then play it for years... no need to make a drama out of usual and normal human behaviour :)

I did not lose passion for for PoE, it is just too GOOD to be played by a mortal like me!
They made this game so good that I get arrhythmia just by starting it!

- Removed Phase Run, to OP for the mortals, give it to monsters.
- They removed snapshotting of blood magic (Malchai Simula mask (probably got the name wrong))
- They added MORE de-sync, feels like exploring without putting any effort into it!
- Added uber smart mechanics like stacked bleeding that will straight out kill you if you don't have "remove bleeding" flask
- Excellent "mobs cannot attack you from off screen" then die from mob attack 2 screens away
- Lightning thorns!
- Boost to elemental damage builds, such as added penalties and mob resists
- Buff to Auras overall. I just love having 2 auras instead of 4, so much more fun!
- Improved Unique items and their drop rates! (yea, I have no clue about that one either, I just know that I can now have more goldrims and uber buffed facebreakers to vendor, very exciting!)
- Added more buffs to Unique items so you can get more alchemy shards/orbs from vendor
- Buff to stat gambling, new range of mods added. Very few things can beat the joy of rolling tier 1 mod on ilvl 100 ammy!!!
- Buff to Life Leech so mortals will have more fun!
- 100 new very useful nodes added to the skill tree. I mean really, why did we need all those resist and life nodes so close when we can have perfectly good +10 dex nodes in their place instead?!
- Moved some Unique items behind the maps of certain level so now not only that you get a 1 in a million chance of getting the item (so you can trade it for the orbs to get the item that you actually need), but you now need to play a high tier map to even get that chance! Brilliant! Good things we can buy maps from NPC for a few alchemy orbs (that no one wants anyway).
- Buff to the value of good Unique items by making them legacy and limited series!

...

now the list of these positive changes just goes on and on (for instance, these changes removed around 70% of server strain to improve gameplay experience) so I will stop listing them, but I just wish for one final change: ninja divine orb all the Legacy items server wide! That will make people sooo happy!

Keep up the good work GGG! I am loving all the new skills you introduce to the game! (I am too scared to try them out, I hear they do so much more damage then the skills you initially rolled the game with, that it makes them totally worth every second you invested in developing them!)
"Path of Exile be a online Action RPG set up in tha dark fantasy ghetto of Wraeclast. Well shiiiit..."
- Uzicorn, for teh children.
I've also lost interest, but I got a good year or two of solid enjoyment from the game.

False. I could play Halo 3 forever, and right now I can play League of Legends all day every day lol.

I love this game , it just does get boring. Idk what it needs, but its something.

Same. Can play D2, Lol and gemcraft towerdefence all day, but in here I get burned out after an hour because the gameplay is unrewarding, sluggish and slow in general.
Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right.
when you grow, you're losing interest in everything
