Why do some players lose their passion for PoE ?

Just recently I've started to lose the inspiration a bit. I played one character to 100 last autumn, which was what I was after when I started to play the game. Since that was done, I wanted to make a new build that nobody else has done before and succeeded in that also, going almost at level 98 with it now, but 5-6 weeks ago, the feeling of things repeating itself too much struck like a lightning. I played my char to 16% of 97-98 level in one day, that's back 5-6 weeks ago and ever since, I've just made barely 50% more. This game is so good anyway, so I thought to take it slow for a while, to not lose interest totally, that's exactly what happened in Diablo 3, which really doesn't matter, as the game itself is not even compareable to PoE in terms of good gaming experience.

He did everything you could possibly do in this game except getting level 100.

And, I personally think, toxicity of D3 RoS was the final blow.

It's been said ad nauseam, but: RNG and drop rates.

That said, I'm back after a couple of months to try a new build with recycled items after my old one became FUBAR. If shit doesn't pan out again I'll probably take a hiatus then find some other build.

DESYNC, Lack of end game content/ structure - mapping just isnt that viable , when you cannot sustain 75-78 maps.

Although Rome wasnt built in a day and GGG is tiny compared to blizzard .

Universe was build in 7 days I can't see problem in it.
