This game ruined Diablo 3 for me...

Whatever D3 fanboy tries to convince u for D3 being the ultimate game in this genre,think of this facts.
1)D3 stopped being even an rpg,became an Arpg,though it was promoted as rpg at first. 2)10 freakin eyars of developement.10 years.Did i says 10 years?And for WHAT!A chopped game!See how diablo 3 was the year before in betas,and compare it to now.All that is loved and good in diablo 2 vanished in thin air.And on lame excuses. 3)Dont get me started on which features are missing.Dont even get me started are which are left at all inside this game!(challenge me if u can,i could create a whole block of text on what is missing in D3) 4)D3 HAS(and sorry POE players)better graphics and physics....but yet again....10y of development,i should be drooling with d3 graphic art...i didnt.Ever tried diablo 3 on its lowest settings?I did,it was slightly better than those of the browser game dragensang.And i am being literal about it. 5)D3 being a copy of titan quest,torchlight,dragensang online(lol,it is a fact)but not diablo series itself!To be honest,i am glad that some aspects of this great games have been taken and dumped in there,else i wouldnt even praise D3 for anything. 6)I am gonna get flammed by D3 fanboys.I dont care.Also i can prove them how they are wrong in every sentence they will say. Thats it from me.Have fun flamming D3 fanboys.They deserve it Bye bye desync!

You gained drops in those 15 minutes and can put those towards crafting an item if your 15 minutes didn't reveal anything good. " Gear interacts with skills. Likely with specific skills if you read between the lines in the blizzard blogs. It will be entirely possible to find an item set that is particularly good at on skill or another. No real reason to reroll, but once you've got a class to max in any system with some form of respec there's no real reason to reroll. " In D3 you can go online, play 15 minutes and get pieces for a crafted item or even get a god rare/whatever. Or you can slap on a different skillset and search for items to enhance that skillset (gems, item mods, whatever). I don't get why people feel like they can't play both games when PoE is $10/free.
Also don't get why people are already judging D3 off like 5% or less of the game. People being people (CBT:August 4th, 2011)

It is perfectly fine to have a crowd of gamers enjoying "ARPG Light" type of games (Diablo 3).
Personally I strongly believe that spreadsheet RPG equals fun. I like the nerd/maths aspect of RPGs. For those that don't enjoy this, why by all means go and play Diablo 3. Just keep a level head and don't try to argue illogically that Diablo 3 is more complex than (insert other ARPG), because it is certainly not true. I did try out the D3 beta, as well as read quite a bit on the subject. It is very clear to me, and most everybody, that D3 is a very light ARPG game, stripped out of any nerdy or seemingly complex RPG aspect. Again, this is fine. The game was obviously not made for people like me (enjoyer of RPGs that require planning and thinking). Arguing about this seems pointless at this point. Let's move on and enjoy PoE those of us that do, and hope for more complex RPG games in the future. |

This beta is fun.. been playing since march but now im pretty bored with it. I don't play lame default either (Yes that is a burn to you defaulties). I'm excited to to play a finished game here in a few more weeks. Though I can't wait for this game to be released.
At first POE was insanely sweet and I hated d3 from the beta (aka a demo)but it was a shitty beta and like blizzard makes a bad game. They don't btw. I was excited by any class can do anything in poe with the brilliant idea of skill gems... just wow I was blown away and the pots! Sure hope they add a lot more skill gems / combos for end game. And that nearly any class can be any spec kinda not digging that anymore. The best thing POE has is you make the best possible gear and the online community in game. Hope blizz fixed their chat / channels and made crafting the best items otherwise I hope this game is released Q3 of this year. Well, I'll be on this here n there but mostly D3 HC after May 15th till this game is released. Keep it up GGG. It's going well though. See ya for sure next act / class. " Simple systems do not equal simple games. Chess has much more depth than Monopoly, but with far fewer rules, for example. (That said, I haven't played enough D3 to know if it's Chess, Monopoly, or Candyland. :P) |

Just want to say I think it is a bit to soon to cast judgement on D3 based off the limited amount of content we have had access to (which personally I enjoyed). I wouldn't want anyone to call PoE a crap game based off of 1 play through of the first act either.
Anywho, I'll be playing both. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."
