RIP All supporter divination cards that specify six link items.
Especially a kick in the teeth for cards like this which were made to honour someone who died.
Gonna be interesting to see how they deal with the backlash from this.
Oni Goroshi Charan's Sword.
What about my effort and time and risk reward for six link chests on standard. Hopefully they just leave legacy skillgems and legacy chests. If not IDK how tf they'll get it to work.
Why would they? People will make new cards and new items. I don't really see them changing one persons item and not changing someone elses. It's either all or nothing, these people payed to get their item in the game. Just my thoughts.

Well yes, it is in fact all or nothing, and they chose all.

To be fair Charan isn't exactly in GGGs best books right now LOL
Although I would assume they simply change the text on the item so that it has the same number of sockets as a 2H item in the new system.
The cards are an entirely different kettle of fish. What do you even do with Imperial legacy?
Just make it drop a white ilvl 100 non shaper non elder bow? For 22 cards?
The main thing i'm getting at here is that the guild that made imperial legacy to honour their dead guildmate is going to be absolutely gutted at this if it isn't handled right, as the card goes from dropping a fairly decent item to dropping actual literal not even bother vendoring trash. For 22 cards.
This is a reply to Drudley as well.
Souls along a conduit of blood, from one vessel to the next.

Again, I don't foresee them changing items to help them stay in meta, if you change one, it gets messy if you don't change others. I just think this is kind of a rediculous way of implementing the six link change overall. They could make the same changes while leaving the six links on the items.

Sure, that could be hard, but it's not the first time they changed someone's purchased item, I guess they would talk to the person that bought it about how to change it.

Actually, oni-goroshi is one of a kind as it is the only 1 handed 6 link item, so I can see them making an exception in this case, and it actually ends up being the easiest one of these problems to fix.
The 6 link is granted by a mod, not the base anywho, so it really is as simple as just changing the mod to reflect the new system's two handed weapons.

Good point. They will just give it 4 sockets rather than 2.
Actually, considering Tabula, maybe it only gets 3 sockets.
Walking the path since August 20th 2011.
