Diablo 4 Would Kill Path of Exile
" Ok cmon you cant fool those of us that have been here long. You can toss on a Tabula, wanderlust, and some super rando gear and easily make it to yellow maps in poe. Hell, even naked, if you play necromancer. Look at what racers do to get to Kitava in an hour lol. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" But this will change with POE2 and i think they will increase difficulty with metamorph league and conquerors of the atlas expansion. GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever. This is coming straight from the heart <3 Last edited by Farystar#1705 on Nov 25, 2019, 5:29:09 PM

Kill? Seems a bit harsh. I'd be curious to see how it affects GGG's revenue though.
A lot of curious haters be like "alright Blizz lets see how much you f'd up D4 now". But, if Blizzard truly delivers a solid product, everyone's gonna get an epic BBC surprise when Blizz unzips. Don't drop the soap GGG. There's devils on each side of you with bottles in their hands.
You need one more drop of poison and you'll dream of foreign lands. |

Most will try D4.
If it has progression, a decently complex system without being silly, a decent trade system where you dont alt tab to whisper 40 people people in a row for a mundane item, skills that dont feel like replications of each, it will win. But that is hard, time will tell if they were up to it. |

" And how do you know that. There are alot of question marks around trade and many core systems. I don't think it will be getting a Auction house, after D3s failure with it. So it will have have something else. I will give D4 a try, but my guess is that i will see how shallow the game is and move back after to PoE after a few weeks. For some reason Blizzards design around WoW and Diablo these past 10 years has been really really bad. Doubt they got the talent to create anything but a shallow game for casuals. " How do I know what? That if it improves on PoE in core systems it will work? There are questions around core systems, but there is not a question that people do not like frustration and annoyance mechanics for the sake of game balance. For instance, imagine you could kill uber elder by simply typing 1,2,3 quickly 2000 times. Would that be fun? No, it would simply be a frustration mechanic, no different than PoE trade. There are pitfalls with free trade, there are problems to solve, but solving them by making players alt tab 40 times for a single map trade is not the solution. |

" 1) Get yourself a guild, so you can exchange maps. 2) Get yourself an overlay (Steam overlay?) so you don't have to alt+tab, if it's so painful 3) Get yourself a second monitor 4) Learn how to spot price fixers 5) Don't be cheap and always go for the cheapest option 6) Buy maps (and other consumables) in bulk If you're still alt+tab'ing 40 times for one thread after a couple of those six tips, you're doing something extremely wrong. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

To be honest... D4 looks worse than PoE2... But both of them will probably optimize everything i hope so... but atm PoE2 wins this battle... + its free to play... there is much more to do.... each new league ur doing something different.
In the end of the day im sure a lot of us will try Diablo 4 and PoE2 and thats just normal. But like a lot of people already are talking.... when D4 will be released mby there will be already PoE3. We know how SLOW blizzard is. When i first saw D4 trailer i was hyped, and Demo gameplay was pretty nice, but if we compare D4 to PoE2... PoE2 wins.... its like Trump vs Hillary in 2016. :D The only thing that i like more in D4 was Trailer. They just know how to make masterpiece trailers. Sadly they dont put that effort in game itself. |

" I don't know it will be crap, just like you don't know it will be great. After D3 and the last 5 Wow expansions Im a bit sceptical. I think they will have issues designing a very casual friendly game but at the same time have a depth. There are alot of reasons for not having a AH. Sure its messy to trade and time consuming. But AH opens up alot of issues. 1. Shady people will have it alot easier to control the economy when they can make alot more trades. 2. Items will lose even more value then before. 3. Easier to trade will mean that the game can easily become all about sitting on AH to flip values. This is what happend to D3. The most successful was the people who took alot of time trading. Now you atleast have to concider if its worth the time to trade minor things or use that time to play the game. |

" You can buy exalts, HH or smt like that from the sites like selling game keys, items with real money. You can boost your league in lol, dota with real money. When you pay other third party systems or people it's not P2W but when you pay directly to Blizzard makes is p2w? This is bs. |
