3.1 crashes constantly

Well, I'm gonna try the Multithreading disabled now.

I am working with DirectX 11 (for PoE), Ryzen 5 1600, GeForce 1070, 16gm ram. Yesterday I had spikes with a crash every 5 minutes. Crashes happened (if I remember correctly) either during a big fight or right after it. But i really doubt its due to my graphic settings, as i had worse situations and nothing happened.

DX9/DX9 ex is the only way to make game working 100%. It's sad, we have 2018, yet i am forced to play on dx9...

same exception crashes for me on dx11. dx9 crashes less constantly but it does 5-10 times a day (dx11 was unplayable btw). tried so many fixes and hoping for a patch at this point. /bump

could it be a gpu memory leak? my gpu is always at 100% when this happens, i have task manager open on second monitor to roughly see what is happening when i crash. it's just a gtx 650 but shouldnt it run the game on 30-40fps? i can play pubg, destiny2 and much more other games without a problem at about this fps. it's sad, after 2k hours i enjoy poe very much..

Try to use the PathOfExile.exe 64bit!
You will find it in the Steam Game Folder.

The normal file on your Desktop is always a 32bit version, which is buggy.

After starting the 64bit.exe turn on CPU multithreading in the Game.

It should work, i have solved all my crash and FPS drops with this method.

i got same problem very mad, crashes when switching zones 10 times+ a day , im on dx 9 cause dx 11 wasnt playable graphic wise

edit trying 64 bit launcher now will let know if it fixes

I'm having the PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe crashes. I've tried loads of things to fix with no luck. I'm convinced its the games fault.
