To be honest a lot of stuff is way over the top now (CoC, Discharge, Totems, etc). Mindless and passive one button screen raping gameplay is being promoted over actually using skills. Support gems provide too much freedom and that isn't always a good thing.

I agree, CoC is degenerative for game in total and should be removed. Or, at least, changed into a more balanced mechanics.

I realy like the effekt of CoC, trigger gems in general and CoC is propably the coolest.
Well, i cant argue about its powerlevel, but Spell-mini-gun is a bit too much for a arpg. What i dont like about it, its very limiting in terms of Gems/Stats/Items/Class?. I dont ask to remove CoC, evryone theres, but they should make a equivilant gem for a larger variety of combinations like: ""Cast on Attack"" 100% chance to cast supported spells on attack, 1,5-2,0 seconds internal cooldown, minus 2-3 Level to supported aktiv gems. (extra rules for internal cooldown) More consistant, more combinatons, aditional supportGems are not outperformed and less Spell-mini-gun (Performance). Who wouldnt want 2handed Leapslam/Flickerstrike +Discharge or Groundslam + Gore Glacialcascade ;D |

CoC severely limits future Spell design, and therefore needs to be neutered.
I dont know if anyone seen the latest CoCslam video of Mathil? (Ground slam CoC). It does maps in a minute, including the boss under 4 seconds. It needs it head cut of. NOW. Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!

CoC is the most degenerative thing in the game.
This comes from a guy who plays both CoC and caster builds. If GGG came up with the spell which hits really, really hard, but takes a lot of time to cast, BAM - let me cast it million times with my coc. There is a way around that however, and Flameblast is a testament to that. We need more spells like that. On the other hand, CoC is degenerative for another reason - graphical engine can't support it, and even people with great machines experience occasional hiccups. CoC in it's current form has no place in the game. I thin that solution would be to put a further cooldown on it, so you can cast only so much spells, but I already see a mountain of rages and rage quits, and since GGG seems to want to cater to everyone these days, I don't forsee this happening. |

CoC should stay the same, just add this line
"spells linked to cast on crit now consume mana when triggered" Alternatively "base mana cost of spells is added to trigger attack" Watch people invest in both crit and mana sustain and have a laugh. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
