Stop messing with people's builds mid league GGG
" Huge difference from fixing snap shotting and fixing one fucking skill working in such a manner they don't wish to be used as such. Snap shotting was used by summoners, aura builds, low life builds and a probably quite a few more. So while they could have given some notice to this particular nerf as they stated they didn't want to give or allude to the fact that this build is "fine" and more people invest time into creating a broken character. I'm surprised you don't see mirror arrow as a positioning skill, but that is what it is, the design of the skill was not to be this LOL 1 shot whole screen in full parties every 4 seconds. Builds will, can and need to be nerfed if they are being abused out of the scope of the game intentions. Cast on death RF was nerfed, flameblast was just nerfed and if you think those nerfs were justified but not this one you have a personal dog in the fight and your judgement is clouded. https://youtu.be/T9kygXtkh10?t=285

nothing is "killed", Pants.
I saw Moos' "post-nerf" video and he's still killing stuff like crazy. I disagree with the message GGG are sending here, which is basically "be creative with builds and use of mechanics, and then we will fucking nuke nerf the shit out of them", but the nuke really didn't hit that hard this time, despite the very scary 80% figure. and the people with the absolute least right to complain about nerfs as a whole, are "rich" who - more than anyone else - can come out of nerfs unscathed, and with fists swinging. I'm just happy the nerfed proliferation and not the build itself which was extremely clever.

" I think you should know better than to think that last line should apply to me ;) And I wasn't mentioning snap shotting to compare this to it. I mentioned it because if they gave a forewarning "this is not working as intended," then any resulting QQ would be unwarranted; as is, QQ is perfectly warranted. I honestly don't know much about the build (though I'm getting a pretty good picture reading second hand accounts) but I'm sure the nerf was called for; that's not what in/validates the complaints--it's the nature of how it was done. I commend GGG for their diligence, it's just this was a "damned if they do, damned if they don't" situation, and I think they might have been able to handle it a little better. But! That's easy for me to say, playing armchair general as we are. Reality might be that other actions might have brought worse consequences, but they did have to choose a course of action, and my only point is that that actions consequences (community unrest, if nothing else) are perfectly valid. Minion skill gem, minion keystone/nodes. Explain where unintended things enter the equation?

It's not a 13 week development cycle, it's a 13 week supporter-pack cycle. You can play any build you want, as long as it's the current meta. |

" Base minion life so decoys can survive long enough to function as an effective bluff. More minion damage so decoys can be threatening. Neither of these features were intended to interact with MI on player low life and function as bombs. It's clever (and can hardly blame the devs for missing the interaction) but far transcends the skill's primary use (as a decoy/bluff). Devolving Wilds

Did Qarl (or anyone from GGG) actually say this was an unintended interaction?

" Specifically, the quantity life -> MI damage, yes (in the patch notes thread, from Qarl). Paraphrased, something along the lines of "neat, sounds like it's working as intended," and then later "oh.. but not to that degree.." " Thanks, I was aware of that specific statement from Qarl. I was wondering if anyone from GGG had "clarified" the situation further. Power Level =/= Entire Mechanic. You're right, they should just wait til everyone and their guinea pig is playing the build and then nerf it for maximum rage...
not. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
