Thing is the build was never intended to behave that way and you know it. It still will clear very fast, but won't be as stupidly broken.

Yeah, I'm sure it will clear really fast, with its 4 second cooldown and complete mediocrity against single targets n all. Just imagine those blazing fasts runs when you're taking 2-3 arrows to down a rare (possibly more depending on ignite RNG) and 8+ on bosses. Too fuckin OP.

It needed a nerf, not as extreme as it got.

I was really looking forward to taking this build to high levels, dumped most of my currency into it. Glad I didn't strip my GSer at least. I really thought it making it through the last patch meant it would survive until act 4, guess not.

We are not planning on deploying major balance changes prior to the next expansion.

... Unless someone discovers a very specific build that clears slower than a cast on critter with mediocre gear.

Also, people shouldn't build so dependently around clearly broken/exploitable mechanics or brand new skills until they are sure that GGG has finished "balancing" it, if they don't want to get "nerfed"!

And how can you verify if it has been already balanced? If it's already there is because they have tested it and is ready to be used. Is not responsible to leave the players take the consequences for not doing so.

I notice GGG are normally quite happy to post a patch to the main page as an announcement.

(Not playing atm) I only found out about this patch from the QQ storm :P

That skill wasn't designed and added with that implementation in mind, also the build is very niche and the "maker" says he still clears maps fine.

@caustic please ask the person that popularized the build and ask them if they think it is fine, your ignorance astounds me .

If your friend is emo because his build got nerfed in PoE, probably wasn't much you could do. He'd probably need to go on anti-depressants whenever its raining or he gets the wrong order at a coffee place.
