Yes. It is an old closed beta item. Really old..

However. It got a 'buff' in the 'release' age and it was +evasion...

Yes, Hyrri's Ire was added in 0.9.6 and Phase Acrobatics in 0.9.7.. Wanted to make sure and looked up the actual patches.

However, in defence for GGG... I don't think Phase Acro was "locked" behind Acrobatics back then. The skill tree looked very different than what it does now.

They "buffed" a lot of items in 1.0.0, including Lightbane Raiment... those minor % buffs just didn't quite cut it. :P

Hmm, yeah, that would be cool. Though, I think the bonuses from frenzy charges would have to limited to defensive boosts only(the chest really lacks defensive stats). Even if it was 2% per charge, dedicated frenzy build with some corruptions would get up to 30% ias from the chest only, for example. Something like life on hit per frenzy could be cool.

We just need to cross our fingers and hope that some devs are reading here time to time and unconsciously get affected by the chatter going on in this thread.

^ Take ias out of the equation, then. Keep movespeed and ev, and maybe throw in something else (lgoh as you suggest, or %chanche to blind target on hit, to keep with the rogue/assassin theme...).
Or something really unique , as "does not trigger enemy traps while frenzied".

Just throwing out ideas, I'd love to use this chest but it's somewhat lacking...

I have two more items I consider to be pretty much useless cuz any decent rare beats them and they don't have anything special to offer (at least I can not see anything so pls correct me if I am wrong):


I really can't find anything good about this. all stats are somewhat mediocre besides the ES, which is ok, and the concentrated effect is not really interessting. (imho).


if u are on full life they are fast...that's it. (imho)

replace the +2 to movement gems with the following: "cast LvL 16 Assasin's Mark on hit"

In the first case, that helm is great for a wand user that wants two 5L skills. I use it still.

In the second, it's the best thing for a CI/lowlife dom/piety runner. Swap boots when you get to boss.

I think you're confusing not the best possible option with worthless... which is what you said.

In my case, the best use I found was for a ice spear/cold snap combo build.
