Damn, 6 pages of the same posts, everyone just trying to jam their opinion down each others throats. So here's mine
Ofc stash tabs are p2w, why argue about it, it wont change anything, its like saying LoL isn't p2w because you can buy champs with IP as well as $$. A small advantage of course, but my definition of p2w is any advantage... not just "big" ones...
So I am pretty surprised at how many people support this or have these twisted justifications of it being not p2w, when it obviously is, just not to the degree of many other games out there. (and obviously that GGG needs to make money and stash tabs do just that for them, so though I would rather they weren't payed for I can understand it at least)
This change is a terrible idea. Not only is it much more p2w than anything currently in the game, but I am against the idea as well if it were free.
Imo spend less time worrying about blues and go progress your chars to the point when you realize its just a waste of time bothering with farming crap blues...
That being said, alt prices would likely drop, and tbh no one really knows what they are planning to do regarding fusing 6Ls, I think the only way a second tab could be good is if it was completely free and in place of any other changes to 6 linking as it should become at least slightly easier with more alts/fuses on the market and imo it shouldn't be any easier than that to 6L I'm pretty happy with the difficulty of obtaining 6Ls and end game gear etc in the game overall, but I think most people agree 6Ls should be sliightly easier to obtain, anyways, that's a discussion for a different topic..

its not an advantage to buy stash tabs it just lets you hoard more. Same thing you can do with making lots of mule chars and accounts.
Inv space is P2W as you pick up more loot before going to town than the other guy.

I'm not denying that in reality stash tabs don't affect much, but still, they do affect gameplay, and time spent using stash tabs or mules is not going to be the same.
and keep in mind a person who buys stash tabs can use mules as well but a person with no points can use mules but not stash tabs. In-game features and anything that affect gameplay in any way other than with completely cosmetic items (I won't start arguing that these give an advantage.. though come to think of it I have terrible vision so bright shiny colors makes it easier to see.. but lol, really wasn't trying to complain about cosmetics that just kinda occurred to me...)
So maybe I am just wrong on one thing. Maybe PoE IS not at all p2w, but only if its something else like pay-to-have-slight-conveniences-amounting-to-a-fairly-insignificant-advantage-over-others, though that doesn't really roll off the tongue. And I guess I am okay with that. Would of course prefer if the game was completely free and the only cash shop things were cosmetics, pets, and name changes etc (which I know they don't sell, though I heard they will change if you ask which I almost wish they would charge for that instead of other things affecting gameplay[again not significantly]...)

1. Actually, it's six pages of people trying to use logic against those who don't care to listen and like living in their ignorant worlds.
2. How are stash tabs P2W? We've explained how they aren't and we've explained how they can't be. Please use an example. Otherwise, shut up or admit stash tabs aren't P2W.

Totally agree with this.

It doesn't just let you hoard more items (which is a direct advantage in large shops), it saves time.
Quoting myself from another thread:
"
How much time do the extra stash tabs save? (Let alone the hassle which they remove)
The answer would be X based on the law of averages which would've been taken from a month period, which means, summarizing the difference in time spent on doing stuff with and without tabs.
When we get that X amount of time which is saved for the sake of convenience (which is also a silly thing, in a hardcore game you can ease up the annoying things, while tons of other stuff that are here just to consume time through clicking, etc. - examples: no inventory/stash automatized sorting, applying each orb individually, etc.).
We use that X and we introduce a new MTX convenience option, you can buy Orbs of Alchemy based on the X.
In the X time period, how many alchemy orbs drop on average? Y? Lets find a price for that. Then, you can buy Y amount of alchemy orbs for Z amount of MTX points.

And while youre spending all that extra time bringing rares to town and storing them in your stash waiting for identical names, how many http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Alchemy_Shard items are you Vendoring? In order to take advantage of all those stash tabs, you have to bring a lot more (all?) yellow items to town, no? And while you're doing that, everybody who knows that the alchemy recipe you are touting is crap is getting alchemy shards and a lot more currency while killing more monsters. Killing monsters while you're portaling to town to dump your yellows in your stash. You ignore the fact that nobody uses that name recipe because it's too inefficient. Poll the top 1000 people on the ladder. I'd be surprised if even a single one does this recipe that you consistently think proves your point.
Edit: looks like you can get an alchemy orb for 8 chromatic orbs (according to poeexchange). I see probably 3 chromatic items per area. While you're filling up your inventory on rares to stick in your stash, I'm picking up these chromatic items. I bet I can get an alchemy from that quicker than you can get one from your precious recipe.

Never mentioned the same name recipe and never implied on it, it's a shitty recipe not worth mentioning.
Alchemy orb is used as an example orb.
No, you don't have to bring a lot more (all) rare items.

If not the same name recipe, then what? I gave an example in that thread too. If 2 people find Chaos recipe ingredients at the exact same rate and say that you can fit exactly 4 completed recipes in 1 stash tab, which of the two players will reach 400 chaos orbs faster, the one with 1 stash tab or the one with 100 stash tabs? The ONLY recipe that you need lots of space for is that same name recipe. And since you mentioned alchemy orbs in your post I thought that's the only logical recipe you can be using as an example.
