Im just happy that it´s finally a heavy Hack & slash time again. Many good titels , im sure ill try out TL 2 also beside D3.
And ill enjoy them all for what they are and there individual styles.
If the uppdates to the game keep going like this , and there stil lis anothere class to show up. ooooboy , i think i have higher expectations on this then D3

Some great points being made on here. I'm glad most realize i am not trying to start a fanboy war or anything of the kind. One thing i love about PoE is their take on health potions and the use of them. Its very original. It's a little thing but an inventive one. Similarly inventive to Torchlight's use of having a pet and using it to stash loot and send it to town to sell it. Will D3 implement that? I never actually heard.

Was Torchlight really the first game to implement that mechanic? For some reason I'm remembering it being in the first Dungeon Siege game, but maybe I'm getting confused with what the mule could do in that game (though the mule was also a cool mechanic).

Diablo 3 is implementing an item called Cauldron of Jordan which allows you to sell items anywhere and anytime.

Humm i think i remember you could hire them at various points or something to help carry your load about. But TL was the first to implement the ability to send it to town and sell your unwanted goodies at least.

In dungeon siege you could have with you mule´s / donkeý that you could stash your loot on. but you had to walk and sell them yourself :)
the dog in TL 1 is a great improvement to that ^^

Ah I see. A definite attraction for more casual gamers that idea. Not against it though. It was time for some sort of change regarding it i guess.
